All inguinal hernias share the common feature of emerging through the myopectineal orifice of Fruchaud, the opening in the lower abdominal wall bounded above by the myoaponeurotic arch of the lower edges of the internal oblique and the transverse abdominis muscle and below by the pectineal line of the superior pubic ramus.

Defined as the most medial compartment of the femoral sheath, the femoral canal is bordered anterosuperiorly by the inguinal ligament, medially by the lacunar ligament, laterally by the femoral vein, and posteriorly by the pectineal ligament [11].

After measuring the internal ring diameter, we performed the internal ring suturing using the following methods: the pectineal ligament was punctured using the suture needle, and the false sac was pulled into the preperitoneal space; the suture needle was then used to penetrate the base of the sac and puncture through the conjoined tendon arch; as a result, the upper and lower edges of the defect as well as the false sac were sutured together after knotting (Figures 6-9).

Hip dysplasia can be managed through balanced nutrition, exercise, chondroprotective supplements and salvage surgery by performing pectineal myectomy, pelvic osteotomy, intertrochantric osteotomy, excision arthroplasty and total hip prosthesis (Raghuvir et al, 2013, Rawson et al, 2005, Vezzoni et al, 2010, Wallace, 1992).

Treatment can be conservative, based on the restriction of exercise and administration of analgesics or chondroprotective agents, or surgical such as corrective osteotomy, pectineal myectomy, and lengthening of the femoral neck.
