The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

A Fated Battle is a single-player event match in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. The player, as Link, must defeat Ganondorf in a 2 stock battle. If the battle lasts through the third background change, 2 Dark Links, each with 1 stock, will appear. Whilst the player can knock them out, it is not necessary.
Progression[edit]
This event is unlocked by completing No Mere Sparring Match. Completing the event does not unlock any further paths.
Clearing the event within 80 seconds on normal or hard difficulty awards an Auto-Healer Sword equipment.
Trivia[edit]
- This event is similar to Brawl's Event 9: The Monster Beneath the Earth, where the player must fight additional enemies if Castle Siege reaches its third background.
- The music used in this event, Title (The Legend of Zelda), normally plays on Bridge of Eldin, rather than Castle Siege.
