Cat Burns Covers Wheatus' “teenage dirtbag”
London-based singer-songwriter Cat Burns released a cover of American rock band Wheatus' “teenage dirtbag” on November 15, 2024.
The original version of the song was released by Wheatus as the first single from their self-titled debut album in 2000.
The single has sold five million copies worldwide as of 2014.
The track was written by Brendan Brown. The cover version was produced by Rob Milton.
The song is the follow-up to the collaborative song Even with British singer-songwriter Rachel Chinouriri, which was released last month.
Cat Burns said of the song, “I’m so excited for you guys to hear this cover, not to toot my own horn but it just sounds so fab.
