Where does the ODT deliver?
Home delivery is available across most of the South: Otago, Southland, and South Canterbury. We also do rural runs, which incur a rural delivery fee.
You can sign up for ODT Digital Access (digital replica of the paper, ODT.co.nz subscriber only content, and ODT+ app content) to access ODT from anywhere. The ODT Digital Access is accessible to all ODT Home Delivery subscribers at no additional cost.
Outside the delivery area, where can I purchase the ODT?
We have retailers in Christchurch and Ashburton who stock the weekend edition of the Otago Daily Times. You can access ODT digital replica and all stories on the ODT.co.nz with your ODT Digital Access subscription.
What happens if my paper is not delivered, or it's damaged or wet?

What is my.ODT online account and how do I register?
An ODT online account (my.ODT.co.nz) allows you to access subscriber only odt.co.nz content, full ODT+ app content and digital replica of the Otago Daily Times. It also allows you to log in to our subscription portal and check your account information.
After buying a subscription, you should register for my.ODT online access.
The ODT Digital Access is accessible to all ODT Home Delivery subscribers at no additional cost. If you do not have an online account set up, please go to our registration page to set one up.
How much does the ODT cost to have it delivered?

Is there a way that I can get access to the ODT if I live overseas or outside the circulation area?
You can sign up for ODT Digital Access subscription to access digital replica of the paper, ODT.co.nz subscriber only content, and full ODT+ app content.
If you are in New Zealand but outside of our delivery area, then postal subscriptions are available, however same day delivery is not possible. You will need to give our circulation team a call on 03 479 3555 to organise this.

How can I give an ODT subscription as a gift?

Can I buy any of the photos published in the ODT?
Yes, if you see something you would like to get printed, purchase it through Otago Images. We have a wide range of incredible photos, taken by our team of professional photographers.
Does the ODT deliver on public holidays?
Yes, ODT delivers on all public holidays excluding Christmas, New Years Day, and Good Friday.
Can I get access to odt.co.nz subscriber only content?
If you have an ODT Digital Access or ODT Home Delivery subscription you can access subscriber only content on odt.co.nz. Login to your account in the top right-hand corner and you will be ready to access all our content.

What is the ODT+ app and how do I access it?
The ODT+ app is your way to get news on the go (on mobile and on tablet). You can find the latest news and read e-editions (digital replicas) of our publications, including the Otago Daily Times and our community papers. It is available on the App Store and Google Play Store.
You’ll need an ODT Digital Access subscription to access all content on ODT+ apps.
