India at ICC ODI World Cup 2023 schedule: Full list of fixtures and venues

Team India will open their campaign against Australia on October 8 in Chennai before meeting Afghanistan in Delhi three days later. India's next match will be the high-octane clash against Pakistan on October 15 in Ahmedabad. India will continue their journey in the round-robin stage with a clash against Bangladesh on October 19 in Pune.

Mumbai: Cricket fans across the globe can finally mark their calendars and make their bookings for the 2023 ODI World Cup. After a long wait, ICC announced the schedule for the 13th edition of the quadrennial event. The tournament will begin on October 5 in Ahmedabad and the final will be played at the same venue on November 15.

The opening match will be played between England and New Zealand, the two finalists of the 2019 edition at the Narendra Modi stadium.

Team India will open their campaign against Australia on October 8 in Chennai before meeting Afghanistan in Delhi three days later. India’s next match will be the high-octane clash against Pakistan on October 15 in Ahmedabad. India will continue their journey in the round-robin stage with a clash against Bangladesh on October 19 in Pune.

Three days later, the Men in Blue will face New Zealand in Dharamsala before locking horns with England in Lucknow on October 29. The host nation will play its seventh league match against Qualifier 2 on November 2 in Mumbai before clashing with South Africa in Kolkata on November 5. India’s final league match will be held in Bengaluru against Qualifier 1.

Except for Hyderabad, Team India will play at all the other nine venues which will be used at the World Cup.

Venues: Chennai, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Delhi, Lucknow, Pune, Dharmsala, and Hyderabad.

October 11, Wednesday – vs Afghanistan (Delhi)
October 15, Sunday – vs Pakistan (Ahmedabad)
October 19, Thursday – vs Bangladesh (Pune)
October 22, Sunday – vs New Zealand (Dharamshala)
October 29, Sunday – vs England (Lucknow)
November 2, Thursday – vs Qualifier 2 (Mumbai)
November 5, Sunday – vs South Africa (Kolkata)
November 11, Saturday – vs Qualifier 1 (Bengaluru)
