How to Celebrate Stranger Season 2024
Loving Stranger Things can’t be contained to just one day of the year.
By Tudum Staff
Nov. 6

On Nov. 6, 1983, Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) went missing in Hawkins, Indiana. Long after the town gave up the search, his friends kept looking ... and discovered a mysterious girl known only by a number: Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown). She was alone, hunted, and extremely powerful. Eleven would stop at nothing to help them find their friend.

‘Stranger Things: The First Shadow’ play

Stranger Things: The First Shadow play

See Hawkins on Broadway with tickets to a production of Stranger Things: The First Shadow. Completely canon to the show, the play is based on an original story by the Duffer brothers (the masterminds behind Stranger Things), Kate Trefry (a writer on Stranger Things), and Jack Thorne (who wrote the screenplay for Enola Holmes 2, which stars Eleven herself, Millie Bobby Brown). Written by Trefry, this prequel may just hold the key to what comes next. Read what the play’s all about below:

“Before the world turned upside down. Hawkins, 1959: a regular town with regular worries. Young Jim Hopper’s car won’t start, Bob Newby’s sister won’t take his radio show seriously, and Joyce Maldonado just wants to graduate and get the hell out of town. When new student Henry Creel arrives, his family finds that a fresh start isn’t so easy … and the shadows of the past have a very long reach.”

The West End production premiered Dec. 14, 2023, and has extended its run at the Phoenix Theatre in London until April 6, 2025. Get your West End tickets here

The Olivier Award–winning show will also be transferring to Broadway in spring 2025 with Louis McCartney, who will reprise his performance as Henry Creel. Get your Broadway tickets here.

Pandora

Pandora is launching its first jewelry collaboration with Netflix, inspired by Stranger Things. The Pandora x Stranger Things collection offers fans worldwide wearable, collectible symbols of their favorite show. A full jewelry assortment, including charms, bracelets, rings, and earrings, has been crafted with love to reflect iconic moments from the show with subtle nods to ’80s style.

Pandora x Stranger Things jewelry collection

“For us, it was important to go beyond literal interpretations of the show and its characters and instead tap into this nostalgic idea of the world before the internet, calling to mind an ’80s sensibility of budget horror films, arcades, neon colors, and heavy metal,” said Pandora creative directors A. Filippo Ficarelli and Francesco Terzo. “Thematically, we wanted to tap into the values shared by both Stranger Things and Pandora, of community and friendship.”

The 12-piece collection taps into the power of connection, inviting fans to light up the Upside Down with jewelry like glow-in-the-dark charms and friendship rings. Standout designs include the Demogorgon motif and the 011 pieces, which pay homage to Eleven’s powerful yet vulnerable journey. The collection reminds us that just like Eleven, who found strength in her friends, we create unbreakable bonds through shared passions. Just like the group from Hawkins, we form communities around the stories we love. We’re reminded that having friends by your side is the ultimate superpower.

Halloween costumes and decor

Stranger Season is basically synonymous with spooky season, so you can celebrate by dressing up as your favorite Stranger Things characters on Halloween night — from Mike and Will to the Scoops Troop. You can also spice up your lawn (and entice trick-or-treaters) with this life-size 7-foot-tall inflatable Demogorgon and more fun decor from retailers nationwide, including Stranger Things pumpkin decorating and carving kits.

Dark Horse comics

Spell-slinging, sword-swinging, and the luck of the dice shaped the lives of the Stranger Things kids well before they had real-life monsters to face. Now, see how Eddie Munson’s reign of the Hellfire Club began in the new Stranger Things x Dungeons & Dragons: The Rise of Hellfire comic series from Dark Horse comics. Launching February 2025, in monthly releases, the story will follow Eddie’s rise to de facto leader of the Hellfire Club and feature flashbacks to the legendary campaign that got him hooked on D&D, his recruitment of Lucas, Dustin, and Mike, as well as glimpses into the fantasy worlds they conquered together. Mark your calendars for these release dates — Issue No. 1: Feb. 19; Issue No. 2: March 26; Issue No. 3; April 30; and Issue No. 4: June 4. Nerds, this one’s for you!
