About Apple TV Plus

Apple TV+ is an on-demand subscription service owned and operated by Apple. Launched in 2019, the service is available on the Apple website, the Apple TV app, while it can also be used on selected Android and Chromecast devices. Though there is some third-party content, the unique selling point of Apple TV+ is its own original programming, some of which has received worldwide acclaim. Ted Lasso won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series, while CODA is the first ever streaming movie to win the Academy Award for Best Picture.
