Stage 1[edit]

Start of chapter 1

さいけっせん!! おうごんぞうにするのはだれだ!? (The final battle! Who will get the golden statue?)

Furious about the double defeat, Genie is about to throw his most powerful attack, the "Genie Machine Gun". A bunch of cannons appear on his belly and, after a little mishap by having the projectiles set on "magic trick tools", a bunch of energy beams are shot, but Genie soon loses control and cannot manage to stop, with the castle starting to tremble from all the damage. Tired of her useless genie, Syrup takes her escape pod shaped like a gacha ball and rolls away to safety, leaving Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Wario, and the Genie to their doom. Genie pleads with the heroes to help him, in exchange he will return the favor. Luigi notices an electric wire connected to him and unplugs it, finally ceasing the Genie's fire. As Mario asks him about the whereabouts of Princess Peach's golden statue, Yoshi finds a "gift" left from Syrup: a giant bomb. When Mario tells him that, panicked, Yoshi tosses it in the air and it lands straight in Genie's mouth and he gulps it. Now scared, the heroes run for the exit, followed by a scared Genie, who pleads them to not let him die alone.

Between trying to survive the crumbling castle, deviating and avoiding the Genie, and trying to avoid detonating the bomb early by saving him from lava pits, Mario finds himself alone with the Genie. After trying to put off the fuse with a barrel of liquid (which is revealed to be petrol) and defenestrate the Genie (only for a Chicken Duck to save him and take him back inside), Mario suggests using his magic to remove the bomb and, holding the lamp, wishes for the bomb to roll out of the Genie's mouth. His plan works, but by laughing out of joy, Mario ends up gulping the bomb.

Right then, Luigi, Yoshi, and Wario fall from the ceiling: the situation has not changed at all. Mario is now more in distress and enters a bathroom, and when he exits it, he reveals he defecated the bomb out: the situation has been solved, but the bomb is still active and there are only three seconds left. The bomb explodes, destroying the castle and blowing up the heroes. Mario is distraught that they will never find the golden statue, but as he raises his head, the giant statue is standing in front of him in the middle of castle ruins: it was concealed as the castle's foundations and skeleton all this time. As the heroes rejoice at their success, Syrup is regretting the choice behind her nausea-inducing escape pod deprived of air holes.

Stage 2[edit]

Start of chapter 2

ワリオぼうぜん!! おうごんぞう!! (Wario is shocked! The mysterious golden statue!)

The chapter opens with Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi thanking the readers for supporting the manga as this is its final page, but this is revealed to be an April Fools' prank. They then proceed to cheer for finishing their mission, happily observing the retrieved statue. Yoshi starts sneezing due to his pollen allergy, but even the statue is suffering from allergies and starts melting into a golden puddle. Syrup arrives at the scene on a helicopter, holding the real golden statue with a cargo chain and, revealing this to be her April Fools' prank, activates her last monster: the golden puddle takes the shape of a mechanical Syrup Castle. As Syrup flees, Jet Wario follows her, leaving Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi to deal with the robot.

The Castle is merciless on them, beating them up and making use of its pollen allergy to trap the heroes in its mucus. After emptying all the blocks in the castle onto them, Mario finds a Garlic Pot and dons his doctor outfit, offering to cure its hay fever with a capsule. The castle accepts, and while Luigi asks why his brother is helping the enemy, Mario reveals the content of the capsule: the Garlic Pot mixed with vitamins makes the garlic grow and then harden, trapping the mecha with hard garlic roots. As the robot growls at Mario for being tricked, with him responding "April Fools", Jet Wario returns with the statue, but Syrup pokes him with a spear, causing him to revert to Tiny Wario and making him fall with the statue onto the mecha, crushing it.

A strange sound comes from inside the statue and, worried to have activated an exploding mechanism, Syrup flies away. Immediately after, the statue uses its prehensile tongue to grab Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi, eats them, and warps away, leaving Wario alone. The Genie, who was resting far from the battle, comforts Wario by giving him the promised reward for helping him with the bomb earlier. Wario asks for his dreamed castle, but all he gets is a doghouse, while the Genie yells "April Fools!"

Stage 3[edit]

Start of chapter 3

だいショック!! らいはクッパののなか!? (Incredible! The future is in Bowser's hands!?)

The statue seems to be a spaceship of some sort and when Mario asks it where it is leading them, the statue responds that they have to solve "Mario's Picross in his head". Mario is confused, but Yoshi notices a nonogram on the back of Mario's head. Luigi solves it and the solution is「未来」(the future). After a time jump, the statue lands in the Mushroom Kingdom of the future, which appears very deserted. Yoshi finds a watermelon, but when trying to eat it, it is revealed to be a Koopa Troopa with a watermelon-like shell. The Koopa is surprised to see Mario, who immediately explains to be from the past, and asks the Koopa if he can guide them.

The Suika Nokonoko flees in a museum, followed by the heroes. Inside, Mario's story is pictured: after their adventures in Dinosaur Land, Mario Land, and Subcon, Yoshi became a eating contest champion while Mario and Luigi became comedians following the loss of their powers, leading to the return of Bowser and his ascension to the Mushroom Kingdom throne, now known as the Koopa Empire. Mario cannot believe his eyes and, seeing a janitor, tries to ask him if that is actually true, only to discover that the janitor is his exact copy, with a K on his hat emblem. Right then, the Suika Nokonoko returns with the museum director, Ludwig, to confirm that after Bowser's ascension, Mario's descendants became his slaves, however, he can make things easier if he kills the past Mario now. Mario is not worried, recalling how he already defeated Ludwig (and even killed him, once), but Luwdig retracts in his shell and starts rolling around, hitting Mario and making his descendant more and more weak and transparent.

Yoshi suggests using the museum items to help them, discovering that his species went extinct and the items exposed are fake. With his last strength, the descendant passes Mario a mushroom that is revealed to be the Master Kinoko Sword from his adventure in Hyrule, and uses it to defeat Ludwig. Intentioned to fix this dark future, Mario decides to take care of the rest of the Koopa Empire but, since "they cannot bring another Mario", his descendant is left exposed in the museum, much to his embarrassment.

Stage 4[edit]

Start of chapter 4

もどりたい? もどれない! らいおおあばれ!! (Want to go back? You can't! Rampage in the future!!)

With the intention of helping this dystopian future, Mario decides to remain, but his good intentions are easily swayed after being attacked by robotic Goombas. Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi run for the statue, but it is attacked and destroyed by the Mecha Kuribō. Luigi manages to distract the Mecha Kuribō by pointing to a non-existing beautiful girl in the distance, buying them time to escape. In the middle of a desert, the trio meet Iggy Koopa, but they ignore him. Furious, Iggy uses his Magic Wand to make it rain and grow a rainforest around them, but once again, he is not acknowledged as a threat, not until he uses his magic to wash them at his feet with a downpour, claiming they will not escape from his enemy-filled jungle.

Mario does not believe him, and tries to escape by swimming, but he is met with a Porcupuffer, then by stepping on some stones, only to discover he was stepping on crocodiles. When not even that breaks their spirit, Iggy summons a Nettai Pakkun Flower, whose breath turns them into flowers. However, Mario is turned into a nose and, after Yoshi bites him out of that form, the Nettai Pakkun Flower sends him some Piranha Plants to chomp him and toss him to it, so as to maul him. Mario manages to avoid the fangs of the Nettai Pakkun Flower, and using his hand, turned large due to the bruises, executes a Hand Slap, but only manages to hurt his friends and to root up the enemy, giving it walking limbs.

Iggy exclaims that until it touches the wet jungle ground, the Nettai Pakkun Flower is invincible. The Hand Slap vibration also revealed some blocks, and in one of them, Mario finds a vine that takes him above the clouds and then comes down holding the Angry Sun. Thanks to the heat, the humidity disappears and the Nettai Pakkun Flower is shrunk and defeated, turning Luigi and Yoshi back to normal. After assisting a punch to the head to Iggy, who was trying to escape dressed like a bush, the trio continue their journey, but are now stalked and boiled by the Angry Sun.

Stage 5[edit]

Start of chapter 5

ほうはっぽうてきだらけ! ちょうしんがたV・Bバーチャルボーイおおさわぎ!! (Enemies on all sides! Chaos ensues with the super evolved Virtual Boy!!)

The heroes have finally reached the main city and their first stop, at the insistence of Yoshi, is a restaurant, which in the future is managed by robots that can immediately create the dishes that the client is thinking of. Despite the mess caused by the overload of orders, Yoshi enjoys a nice dinner. Right after, the group is stopped by some Lakitu policemen: the news of Mario's return has already spread and is now wanted, but thanks to the bruises, Mario is not recognized, for now. Realizing this, the heroes use a marker to disguise their identity and enjoy the city. While entering the Bowser Mall, where there is a sale event to celebrate the publication of CoroCoro Comic 50,000th issue, Morton, the mall director, recognizes them and follows them inside.

While "distracted" in the bikini section, with unattractive mannequins of Bowser and a Wiggler, and a very rude robot-Goomba employee, Mario and Yoshi lose sight of Luigi. On the intercom, the mall staff asks for the "parent of the green mustached child" to come and pick him up at the info point, but once Mario and Yoshi arrive, Morton comes out with a tied up Luigi and unmasks Mario. The entire mall is after them, and when they try to run away on the escalator, Morton activates a trap that tilts it to make Mario and Yoshi fall into a mouth at the base. Thanks to the massive meal before, Yoshi's defecation manages to clog the mouth at the base of the escalator, and the chase continues.

Yoshi is then captured by a Pokey, while Mario bumps on a Grinder and a Chainsaw and is sent flying in the new articles section, only to find a Virtual Boy attached to his face. Seeing that, Morton decides to have some fun with it by manipulating what Mario sees: with Mario noticing enemies coming at him on the Virtual Boy screen, he keeps attacking Yoshi and Luigi, is bruised by what he thinks are non-existing Thwomps and Sumo Bros, and even mistakes Morton for Peach, kissing him. This comes to an end when, swinging a hammer, Mario approaches the sports aisle, where the balls have been recently replaced with Bob-ombs, and he hits them, blowing up the entire mall and its occupants, much to Morton's desperation.

Stage 6[edit]

Start of chapter 6

ついにかんせい! きょうりゅうドラゴのじゃくてんさがせ!! (Finally done! Find Drago's weak spot!!)

At Wario's base in Wario's Woods, the monsters inform Wario to have completed the construction of Drago, the only thing left to do before sending it against Mario's crew is to infuse it with Wario's personality. After attaching a helmet on Wario and plugging it to Drago, the transfer process begins and Drago is now in motion. Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Toad, and Wanda are attacked and Wanda is knocked out by Drago's fire breath. Yoshi attempts to reason with it using their reptilian nature to open a dialogue, but it fails.

Without Wanda's bomb magic and with Birdo out to pre-order the latest issue of Super Mario-kun, it seems like the heroes are done for. Yoshi, noticing Drago's wings, expresses how tiny they are and Drago suddenly cowers in embarrassment. It seems that, just like Wario, Drago has self-esteem issues deriving from its physical appearance. Mario then goes all out on it, ridiculing its snout, its shape, and its weight, but with one insult too many, Drago is now enraged and knocks them out with its fart and starts squashing them under his claws.

Someone arrives to the heroes' rescue, the fairy elder, still in his cursed watering can form, but still capable of using his bomb magic, by making a meadow grow horsetail bombs. Mario slips out from Drago's paw and grabs as many bombs he can and, as he is about to toss them at Drago, it pleads for its life, claiming to have a 5-headed dragon son to feed and a 25-year loan on its house. Mario and the others are touched by this, getting distracted enough for the bomb to explode on them, only then Drago reveals it was all a trick. About to serve the final blow, Birdo arrives on the scene, and seeing her, Drago starts cuddling her: it turns out that it has a soft spot for ladies, to which Mario and the others all dress up as women to pass the dragon.

At Wario's base, between all the praises and laughs about Drago's personality matching Wario's, the latter is punishing his minions for failing yet again in stopping Mario, with them rightfully blaming him for this failure.

Stage 7[edit]

Start of chapter 7

あいつもこいつもワリオ!? かくらんさくせんちゅう!! (How many Warios are there?! Beware of their distraction tactics!!)

Mario and his party have almost retaken the Peaceful Woods from Wario and the final battle is approaching with them barging into Wario's base, but they find not one but five trees with a sign claiming they are Wario's castle. Splitting up, each hero enters in one tree-castle and returns with a tied up Wario: something is wrong. Looking closely, Wanda notices that four of the Warios are pretty different, and are in fact a Squeak, a Spud, a Beaker, and a Spook faking to be him, but Mario discovers that even the fifth one is a Fuzz disguised: Wario has already fled and left fakers to lead them to think they have won.

Now busted, the monsters come together to form a revolving cylinder formed by multiple Wario's faces, which then starts spinning towards the heroes. Luigi tries to stomp it, but a face on the top side blocks this attempt. The monster then tosses Mario and his friends, except for Wanda, inside a hollow tree, which is then filled with a bunch of monsters. Yoshi eats some of them, but they are poisonous. The heroes make their way to the top of the monster pile, only to be met with a lowering ceiling.

Right about when the heroes are close to being squashed, Wanda returns with her fairy friends, and they all use their bomb magic to break the tree and free their friends. The Wario-faced monster tries to escape, but Wanda and her friends turn Mario into a bomb and Luigi grabs him and throws him onto the monster, blowing it up and defeating it. However, Mario was also hit by the explosion, but Wanda heals him by using her magic again, turning him into a Bullet Bill.

Stage 8[edit]

Start of chapter 8

いんねんたいけつ!! になるになったワリオにオノ!! (Showdown of doom!! An axe for Wario, who has turned into a strange tree!!)

Wario is the only one left, but has gone into hiding. While searching for him, the heroes come across a fallen tree, but after touching it, the tree gets up: Wario hid inside it and, while waiting for a long time, he ended up becoming one with the big tree. Taking offense at the mockery of the heroes, Wario is discovered to have absorbed the evil nutrients of the earth and emits a gas that knocks down all the nearby fairies and turns the heroes into trees. Mario manages to save himself by using a gas mask, and hiding Wanda inside it.

Mario first attempts to use a fireball to burn him, but Wario has a sprinkler on him and puts down the flames, then slaps Wario with his branch and then tries to melt him with his acid lymph, but Mario avoids it. Noticing how Wario is rooted to the ground, Mario tries to get far to avoid the next attacks, but Wario's roots coil him and start to strangle him. Right then, the elder arrives with the magical Axe of Justice, cutting off the roots and saving the plumber. However, Wario slaps the axe out of the way and right into a pond, but Bowser, dressed up as the goddess of The Honest Woodcutter story, gives it back.

Having had his roots cut off, Wario manages to use his branches to fly away, so that he can now spread his toxic gas all over the forest. Mario is about to give up, but Bowser, claiming that he had not invaded a story for some extra screen-time only to see Mario give up so easily, launches him into the air, but Wario dodges him. Luckily, Bowser threw Mario with such strength that he went around the world and is now back, striking the axe down and defeating Wario.

Wario's Woods is no more and the Peaceful Woods have been restored: Luigi and the others are no longer trees, the fairies have healed back from the poison, and the fairy elder is no longer a watering can. As everyone is enjoying this happy ending, Wario arrives, in his normal form, with the axe stuck in his head, pleading for its removal, scaring everyone with his bloody appearance.

Stage 9[edit]

Start of chapter 9

三つどもえバト闘開始ルスタート!! ピーチひめめざしてゴー!! (The three-way race battle begins!! Go to Princess Peach!!)

In the Mushroom Kingdom town, the King and the princess have announced a fierce survival race: the first to pass the checkpoints and reach Mount Enoki will win one million coins, a year's worth of food, and the hand of Princess Peach in marriage. Interested in each respective prize, Luigi, Yoshi, and Mario decide to take part in the race as a team. The chance of marrying Peach also makes Bowser and Wario want to participate, scaring the other people interested from taking part.

The day of the race, only Team Mario, Bowser, and Wario are taking part. The two villains immediately jump in their respective aircraft (the Koopa Clown Car and the Bulldog) and fly to the first checkpoint. Team Mario takes the kart, but riding it with two extra passengers, the vehicle is too slow, resorting to them using Yoshi to travel. The first checkpoint is the Jungle, where the trio is hindered by Donkey Kong, hired by Bowser with just a banana. Mario tries to beat the offer with a Giant Banana, but Yoshi eats it, angering DK.

After getting hit by Roll Attacks and barrels, Luigi pulls out an instant-Super Star to help his brother, but due to DK's Hand Slap, the star falls out of the cup and falls to the ground with all the water. Bowser then orders to toss Mario down a cliff, and DK does so. Luckily for Mario, he finds a Life Balloon that he catches, floating back up. Mario then stomps on DK and kicks him in a Blast Barrel that Yoshi aims at Bowser. DK is then shot, hitting both Bowser and Wario, who was flying by. With this advantage, the heroes go to the next checkpoint.

Stage 10[edit]

Start of chapter 10

ワナ、ワナ、ワナ! みんなではまればこわくない!? (Trap, trap, trap! Is it really scary if everyone falls in!?)

On their way to Mount Enoki, Luigi finds a map that leads to a shortcut to the goal, passing through a swamp. Yoshi presumes it might be a trap of their rivals, but Mario has already gone towards the indicated shortcut. Once at the swamp, the trio finds Wario trapped in the mud. When Mario asks if he fell for the trap of the map, Wario admits he was the one to set that trap, but accidentally fell in the mud. Mario decides to leave him there, but Wario blackmails him by promising to not share an embarrassing photo of him if they can get him out. While approaching him, Yoshi notices that the mud level is not deep, but that is not why Wario is stuck: he is riding a Blargg he imported from Dinosaur Island.

The monster emerges, with Wario gripped on the back of its head to avoid its tongue. Noticing the trio, the Blargg directs its attention to them, spitting mud onto Luigi and Yoshi. The mud quickly hardens, leaving them paralyzed. To avoid the incoming mud balls, Mario uses Yoshi as a shield, dropping him face first when he loses balance. Nose first to the ground, Yoshi manages to smell Fire Flower seeds in the ground, so Luigi drops instant-Super Mushrooms from his pocket to fertilize the grass, making the Fire Flowers grow faster.

Using them, Mario defeats the Blargg with a giant fireball, saving Wario. After using some water to free his brother and Yoshi, Mario goes to Wario, who accidentally activates another trap of his, locking them inside a cage. Meanwhile, despite Mario's worries, Bowser has not made it far, having fallen for the fake map trick and getting himself trapped.

Stage 11[edit]

Start of chapter 11

おむこさんチェックは、たいりょくりょく・ボケのうりょく!? (Check your child's skills: physical strength, intelligence, and stupidity!?)

Bowser is approaching the goal, but discovers to have taken the wrong path and arrived at Mount Tanooki, instead of Mount Enoki. Not able to correct his mistake before his adversaries reach the goal first, Bowser calls one of his soldiers with the order of hindering Team Mario and Wario until he arrives. Meanwhile, Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, and Wario have arrived at the second and last checkpoint, in which they have to prove to be an excellent parental figure for a child in a series of tests judged by Toad. However, Mario and Yoshi notice something is suspicious about Toad, between the glasses and his "face that makes you irritable".

The first test is physical strength: the participants must score a goal to prove to be athletic enough for the kid. Mario goes first, but the goal is blocked by a bunch of Boos, and when it is Wario's turn, a roller shutter denies his shot, so both of them are disqualified. Bowser arrives and takes his shot, missing the goal, but the ball magically rolls inside, giving him the win. The Team Mario and Wario complain to Toad, especially when the ball kicked by Bowser seems to be a Koopa Troopa with a painted shell.

The next test is intelligence: the participants must answer a math problem. Bowser's question is easy (2 × 2), but Mario and Wario's is unfairly long and complicated. Tired of his obvious bias, Wario tackles Toad, revealing him to be Kamek in disguise, with Yoshi finding the real Toad tied up and gagged behind a rock. As Bowser flees, he orders Kamek to slow the rivals down, and he obliges, turning the Mario team and Wario into blocks. Toad asks Yoshi to munch on the ropes and, once free, just in time to avoid a magic blast from Kamek, asking the others to form a block totem that he knocks over the Magikoopa, defeating him.

With Kamek dealt with, the Mario team and Wario continue the race, but the wizard casts another spell, shattering Mario and Yoshi into pieces, to then interrogate the readers by asking what pieces of them are missing, comparing between the last two panels. Luigi stays behind to build them back together, while Wario continues to run.

Stage 12[edit]

Start of chapter 12

ついにゴール!! ピーチひめはピチピチ×××!? (Finally the goal!! Princess Peach is a lively ×××!?)

The Mario team has reached the goal, inside a mountain cabin on Mount Enoki. Once inside, the trio finds Wario and Bowser badly injured and unconscious on the floor by sharp objects. A ceiling of spears falls onto the trio, but Mario uses Yoshi to block them, passing the penultimate test: the last challenge is now awaiting all of them in the last room. Hearing this, Bowser and Wario get themselves up and enter the room with Mario, Luigi and Yoshi.

The room has three nonograms on each wall, with Peach behind one of them; the first team to find her wins the race. Wario completes his puzzle, which is the shape of a fist, but from his wall a giant fist lunges out to punch him. Team Mario completes theirs, but it is a bomb and is blown up by an explosion. Bowser completes his puzzle, which is the picture of Peach, and she exits from the wall: the race is over and Bowser is the winner. Even more surprising, Peach seems to be okay with marrying Bowser. While Mario picks a fight with Bowser, Yoshi notices some clips and even a denture flying out of Peach, and when he calls the others to see this, Peach is revealed to be a wrinkled old lady with her skin stretched and held by the clips to appear slimmer and younger.

Right then, the real Princess Peach barges in, and by the way she keeps Bowser at a distance, the heroes are convinced of her identity. It turns out that the old lady is her 100 year old grandmother: in complicity with her father, granny organized this race to find a new husband, using her name to bait more people to the race. As Bowser is dragged away by granny, more of her elder friends arrive to ask the rest of the participants who want to win them in a new race, to which Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, and Wario start running away from.

Bonus Stage[edit]

Start of bonus chapter

いきなりけっせい! 漫才トリオも楽じゃない!? (Unexpected formation! Is it easy being a manzai trio!?)

This chapter is an alternative epilogue of the Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3.

Mario, Yoshi, and Wario are about to adventure inside of Syrup Castle, ready to fight for the golden statue. Their first obstacle is the entrance door: a password is required to enter, but after many embarrassing attempts to guess it, the minion at the intercom decides to open the door, but it slams onto them. Unfortunately, as Syrup, through the cameras, is laughing at this, Mario and the others crawl inside the open door.

To get to the boss room, the trio has to go through a room where the Brown Sugar Pirates are having a New Year party. Dressed as Pirate Gooms, the three pass by, but are then forced on the stage to entertain. As they go with the flow, they present themselves as a trio of manzai. The audience, however, is offended by Yoshi's jokes, and unamused by Wario and Mario's sketch, to the point that a Gaugau tries to make things better by using Goom-Mario in his knife throwing act. It is only when Yoshi blasts an intoxicated Goom with a Blast Barrel and uses his tongue to steal all the food that the pirates grow suspicious of them and the Gaugau reveal their disguises, forcing them to run.

The trio is eventually caught. A Pikkarikun, in excitement, asks to go next on the stage, but a Goom forbids it. Suspicious of this, Mario tugs the cord of the Pikkarikun, making it shoot a lighting so powerful that the pirates turn into coins. One surviving Goom flees to inform the Captain, and she summons the Genie. Once Mario and the others enter the room, they find a giant golden Buddha statue, which is later revealed to be the Genie with some gold powder on. Syrup uses water to wash away the gold powder and then sends the Genie to attack the heroes, but the Genie has caught a cold and his powers are washed up because of it. In his dizziness, Genie comments with Syrup that it would be bad for the heroes to attack his head, his weak spot, reaching it with the fumes released by his lamp.

As Syrup scolds him to stay quiet, Yoshi overhears him, but even the lamp has got a cold and is unusable. Yoshi farts some clouds out to help Mario reach the Genie's head, defeating him with a stomp. Genie surrenders and offers to grant a wish if they spare him. Wario asks for them a castle and, based on the coins in their possession, Genie gives a castle each: having no coins with him, Yoshi gets a birdhouse, Mario has some coins and gets a castle that is later revealed to be a cardboard cutout, while Wario, who has many coins, gets his own planet.

Just then, Mario realizes that Syrup has gone and has left them a giant bomb. The trio escapes but it is too late: the bomb explodes, destroying the castle and blowing away Mario and the others, who promise to never return to Kitchen Island, even forgetting to go and get the statue.

Trivia[edit]

  • This volume marks the last time in the manga series in which Peach has the simple hairstyle from the Japanese Super Mario Bros. artwork, with both the golden statue of hers and her next manga appearances obtaining the heart-shaped bangs she has in the rest of the artworks and in the games.
