Description
Cures the Glohm status ailment.
First appearance Mario & Luigi: Brothership (2024)
Effect Removes Glohm status ailment

Ampberries are items in Mario & Luigi: Brothership used to cure Mario and Luigi of the Glohm status ailment. Their name is a pun on "ampere" and "berry", the former referring to a unit measuring the strength of an electric current. They are heart-shaped berries with a circuit pattern on them. They only grow on Wayaway Island, and are the only known method of curing Glohmed citizens. They are stockpiled by Bowser in his castle, from which Mario and Luigi retrieve a large pile of them to bring to Dr. Vulko. Afterward, Dr. Vulko will give them 10 Ampberries when the bros. talk to him. Ampberries can also be found in ? Blocks in the overworld or obtained from defeating certain enemies.

The "Auto Ampberry" Battle Plug allows immediate use of an Ampberry whenever Mario or Luigi is affected by the Glohm status effect.
