Movies that make me hungry.

This movie interested me for one main reason- almost every scene involved food. The plot is after you die, you go to this after-life for a week or so to "defend" your life (so you can be reincarnated to a better life). While you are there, you get to eat pretty much whatever you want, too.

This is the only pic I can find where they are eating, but they do eat a lot in this movie!

There were a lot of food scenes in this movie. The family eating together (several times), Edward chopping cabbage for coleslaw, the cookies at the beginning? Where to start?





The roast beef looks good!

Lame movie, but it had "Burger" in the title, so that's probably why I sat through this.

The pizza at the beginning? Or the scene where Kevin pigs out on ice cream and junk food? Awesome!


Who wants ice cream?


I really want ice cream, now!

Remember when Peter has the "feast" with the Lost Boys (whatever they imagine suddenly appears!)? YUM!



I couldn't find a screen cap of the food, but those pies and the fried chicken sure looked good!

Well, here is the "use your imagination" scene.

The bakery scenes? The cat drinking warm milk? Again, this freaking cartoon had my stomach gurgling.

Remember when Lady and the Tramp have that famous Italian meal? Can't you just taste the juicy meatballs, and the delicious, seasoned spaghetti? drools

Considering the subject matter of this film, I feel bad thinking about Food, but the father sure made some awesome looking Italian food!

Of course there are no screen caps of the food. Believe me, it looked yummy...

Am I the only one who wanted to eat chocolate cake about half way through this movie?

While not as hunger-inducing as Ponyo and Spirited Away, My Neighbour Totoro still made me hungry. Those yummy, fresh veggies from Grannie's garden? And the japanese lunch? YUM!

You know that scene where the mother is feeding the kids Ramen noodles with egg, onions and ham? Makes me hungry every time!

Another Miyazaki film, of course. Remember when Chihiro and her parents are at the "abandond theme park" that isn't really an abandoned theme park? And her parents eat the food of the Gods? I was drooling for food I don't even know the name of! There were other yummy scenes, too.



Unfortunately this was the best pic of the food I could find, but you should have seen those dumplings and egg rolls before the parents scarfed it down!
