I know most people would say it's a "first world problem" (a term I dislike), but I really appreciate that Presley's albums on Spotify have not been ruined with that evil word 'remastered'.

i'm confused- was he a pedo or not? is there any evidence that can prove his "pedophilic behaviors"? is there any evidence that can debunk the pedophile rumors? i'm talking solid concrete evidence. i'm not a fan of his music and not planning on becoming one any time soon but i don't wanna accuse him of such actions like how some non-michael jackson fans assume he was a pedophile but never really dove deep into the story. if there are any reliable sources, lmk below. pls&ty :)

Been listening to him every month since January (his b-day month) 2022. I've been a fan since the early 90s due to my mother being a fan in 50s/60s/70s (she still has vinyls from back then). I mostly listened to the Rocker compilation on cassette tape (I still have it) back then. I still have a couple of other Elvis tapes as well. I lost my interest in him, due to my mom wanting me to listen to more modern music. So then my cousins helped me get into more modern music at the time (was listening to 90s hip-hop in the early 90s, but got more into modern rock). I rarely listened to Elvis from the mid-90's to the mid-00's. However, my interest in Elvis was totally revived around the early 10s (did listen to him in 2013, last year of the early 10s) or maybe even late 00s due to the fact his music was super accessible thanks to digital music found on the net. I got more albums. Then it has been much easier to find more of his music thanks to streaming platforms. Elvis rules!

when I check your top 50 I see Ariana Grande, a woman who wrecked a marriage while the woman was in hospital with their baby and Rammstein, where Till Lindemann has an armada of women after every concert which were potentially not checked for their age... and that's just the stuff I know of, I bet there's dirt on Doja Cat or some other artists you listen to. Can I cancel them too?

He's an unoriginal white pedophile who profited from acclaim that should have gone to Chuck Berry, Little Richard and other talented black pedophiles.

My friend, I don't know if you knew, but at the time the prejudice against blacks was huge never that whites would want to hear a black man sing, Elvis was a white singer who liked black music because he grew up with it, Elvis was responsible for bringing black music to whites, Elvis only helped Little Richard, Chuck Berry and others. You're just finding reasons to keep canceling people.

I don't really believe that, especially because of what was said by Priscilla, for the simple fact that she still uses his last name and wants to be buried next to him even though she is not his widow.

My most scrobbled artist by far. Elvis just put out so much music in his 42 years, there are so many albums, and compilations, live albums, and soundtracks, its hard to keep track of them all. Listening through his entire discography it makes me sad that his prime was wasted making crappy movies. Don't get me wrong, some of his most iconic songs come from these movies but each album has about 1-2 decent songs and 8-9 duds. What would Elvis' trajectory have looked like if he had ditched the Colonel in the 60s? World tours? More inspired music? Would he have become less of the parody of himself that developed from his Vegas residency? We will never know. I'm just glad he put out as much music as he did. I'm willing to sift through the mediocre songs to find the gems.

"Elvis just put out so much music in his 42 years" – Wait until you see Frank Zappa's monstrous catalogue. 🤣

I love that the majority of his songs are under 3 minutes long. It makes his music so easy to listen to

Elvis Aaron Presley, a man among men of his time, the singer among singers. I've loved Elvis since I was 5 years old, but it wasn't until I was 19 years old, after a fateful event that, when I bought the Comeback Special 68, music comes and goes, suddenly, reaching the gospel medley, which I, listening to Elvis praising, I also heard the Holy Spirit speak to me, exalting the man Elvis and presenting me to God as a person worthy of praise and worship. If someone tells me that I'm an Elvis fanatic, well, honestly, I don't come to this fanaticism, but if they insist that I love him too much, the truth is that God is to blame, because he introduced Elvis into my heart.

As a reverend from a church Elvis attended as a child said: Elvis is a beam of musical energy and this echo will never die! He was born and raised influenced by blacks, by black music; unfortunately there are still idiots who believe that Elvis stole music from black people. Did they want him to sing opera, even though he grew up poor and among blacks? Thank God he grew up among black people, because with them Elvis learned to be really cool; and, definitely, Elvis, although white, was blacker than many black singers and whiter than many white people at the time and today.

James Brown said: Elvis was my soul brother, and he is the king of rock n' roll. In another speech, James Brown said: I thank Elvis Presley, because he brought white, racist America to its knees to black music. Really, brother, Elvis deserves all the success he had, because he worked hard, and yes, he influenced the real Funk, which is North American and which, whether you like it or not, has a lot to do with rock n' roll. Elvis was a hard worker, as were his contemporaries, and I thank God that Elvis meant so much in my life. Amen!

I wish people would respect the idea of black artists being allowed to borrow from music generally played by white artists... This world is so cruel.

Whenever I listen to The 69 Eyes (band), I am reminded of Elvis because of the voice of Jyrki 69. It is very noticeable that Elvis influenced him. 😅☺️

When I heard Elvis singing gospel music, in the gospel medley - on the Elvis: '68 Comeback Special - I heard the voice of the Holy Spirit say to me like this: If this man (Elvis, in this case) who has received so much fame, glory and majesty, believed and praised God, why don't you also believe and praise? That's when I understood that God is a person, that the one who spoke to me was an immortal, not a dead person, but the Holy Spirit, and I'm happy, because, although Elvis didn't like to be called a king, even the Spirit of God honored Elvis how he honors all who believe in him, because we are chosen kings and priests.
