i'll always have this album in a special place in my heart. not because it was super groundbreaking or anything, but because it was an album i got recommended by some guy i'll never ever see again at a convention that is no longer in function. story goes like this, this guy has a whole load of cd's in his stand, in there was static-x's debut album and at that time i could never find it anywhere else and i got happy LOL. asked how much it costed, 100 mxp which is a mad steal for such a great album, the guy afterwards sees my radiohead shirt, asks if i was a big fan of rock and of course i am! dude hands me out this album and tells me that i might dig it, even if it's not as "hard" as static-x. i tell him that i'll give it a shot when i get home, it was 50 mxp which again, is a good price for a band i had no idea about until now. i get home, pop it into my ps3, and i liked it! it wasn't groundbreaking or super impressive, but i loved the album for what it was.
