ISPRS is supported financially by four main membership categories: Ordinary Members, Associate Members, Regional Members, and Sustaining Members. All fees are payable on an annual basis.. It is the responsibility of each member to pay their full membership fee each year in Swiss Francs or the equivalent in USD or Euros. All banking fees at the originating bank are to be paid by the Member.

 

  1. Each Ordinary Member (ODM) organization remits fees to the Treasurer of ISPRS on a scale broadly related to the number of photogrammetrists and remote sensing specialists it represents.

    Ordinary Membership is arranged in eight (8) categories as follows:

    Ordinary Member organizations select their own category and may at any time increase their category but may not lower their category without previous approval by the General Assembly.

    Voting rights at quadrennial General Assemblies is tied directly to the category number. Category 8 members cast 8 votes; category 1 members cast 1 vote on each voting issue. Ordinary members have an incentive to increase their category during the Congress.

  2. Each Associate Member (AsM) organization remits fees to the Treasurer of ISPRS on a scale broadly related to the number of photogrammetrists and remote sensing specialists it represents.
    Associate Membership is arranged in four (4) categories as follows:

  3. The annual contribution paid by Regional Members (RgM) is 115 Swiss Francs

     

  4. Sustaining Members (StM) pay an annual fee according to the number of employees in their organizations defined by the five categories below:

  5. All financial responsibility for the Congress and Commission Symposia is entrusted to the Ordinary Member host organization. The Society does not provide funds for these activities.
  6. The Ordinary Member organization which hosts a Technical Commission is entrusted with complete financial responsibility for all expenses incurred by the work of the Commission.

  7. Chairpersons of Working Groups are required to be financially able to attend the mid-term Symposium of their Commission and the quadrennial Congress.
  8. The financial affairs of the Society are examined by a Financial Commission elected by the General Assembly.
