I enjoy young adult fiction as well as the fantasy-adventure genre and this book is a hit on both accounts. I've not read any books centered around cryptid characters before and enjoyed the inclusion of the familiar Lochness legend. The main characters are enjoyable and believable and the writing is crisp with a good pace.
