Stop me if you've heard this one before, but the Big Ten Network and DISH Network announced early Saturday that they've reached an agreement that returns BTN to DISH's channel lineup.
This time, it's for real.
The sides reached short-term agreements for the first two weeks of the season, but did not have one for Week 3. Several Big Ten athletic directors have issued statements in recent days expressing disappointment with DISH Network for not carrying BTN and Big Ten football games.
"We're pleased that both sides could eventually come together, and we thank fans for their patience," BTN said in a statement Saturday.
Big Ten Network will broadcast seven Big Ten games today: UAB-Ohio State, Central Michigan-Iowa, South Dakota-Northwestern, Eastern Michigan-Michigan State, Idaho State-Nebraska, Louisiana Tech-Illinois and Syracuse Minnesota.
