Vylet has released an excellent remix of her hit song Antonymph from last year, bringing on some of those oldschool dubstep feels combined with more modern sounds.
Head on down below the break for it!
Twilight's badapple battle stance during the events of the S4 finale will always be inspiring for more than one brony, and here we've got quite a hard-hitting deathstep experience filled with vocal samples that will get you to relive the prelude and the heat of the battle against Tirek, being at the front row with the speakers blasting full power!
This totally slipped past my radar, but apparentky a remake of Sleepy Hooves, an original track from Blaze that I effectively discovered in 2014 the year I became a brony, has been released on Soundcloud, and oh my gosh, that play with Fluttershy's voice, that picthed-down effect when she sings "time to go to beee~~eed", is SO powerful, that kind of melodic play with a pony's voice is exactly the most emotional things for me in pony music, ever since Clouds VIP. For nostalgia, pony emotion, and a much Fluttertastic moment, please enjoy this remaster!
Check it out on Soundcloud here!
Thanks Ralsei for the heads-up!
Inspired by the memorable episode Tanks for the Memories (which definitely seems like the most popular episode to make something about!), Skybound features classic pony vocal chops as well as a creative instrumental combining several different genres! It's sounding quite unique overall, while having that pony flair to it!
A new brilliant example of an episode-centered and pony vocal samples-powered song has appeared!! Maldecid, formerly known as Corrosion, shows us how it's done with a wicked Deathstep banger making use of vocal samples from the episode Magic Duel that had Trixie making her great and powerful comeback, and it even includes that training session with Zecora! It's a mystical and somewhat dark journey through the events of the episode in musical form, and I hope that you will enjoy it as much as I did everypony!
And now for a nostalgic yet fresh-sounding experience! With such a title and cover art in the video, this release is already taking me back to my early brony days when I saw the community's reponses to that epic face from Twilight in the S2 finale! The Dubstep composition doesn't miss, and the classic Fluttersamples are the icing on the cake for a delightful pony song like in the old days. Truth is, such pony music never stopped getting made!
Korroki went very dark and very creative, with this very transformative take on Feather's original song! Wicked visuals are adding to the overall experience of the eerie remix that has got lots of murky sound design and tasty bass. Vocals and SFX complete the bloodstained frame for a resolutely grimdask result!
(grimdark warning)
Using show samples and a wicked Deathstep sound, Corrosion lives up to their alias with an abrasive and dark piece that seems to call forth the Eternal Night. Wubs and an ominous atmosphere are chanting Nightmare Moon's Revival, and it looks like the Reunion is upon us...
Remember ponies, even if love brings pain sometimes, don't give in to hate! Even if it's more painful, bring light to this world by breaking the cycle of hatred! If everyone did that, there would be way less suffering in the world!
If you know who Thrasher is, I probably don't need to put a genre in the title! Haha! For real though, it's ranging from Black Metal to Death Metal to EDM to Metalcore to Metalstep to Nu Metal and more! The concept of the album involves being trapped in a virtual world and a pony hacking their way out of the nightmare! That kind of settings gotta remind me of games such as The Caligula Effect 2 that came out recently, it seems like it's a trend these days! Anyway, please savor this heavy, epic, and story-infused powerhouse of an album!!
Download the album from Bandcamp here, or listen to it from the YouTube video of the full album here! (also embedded after the break!)
One More! Pagan Pegasus is on a roll and presents us a new remix already, going for a classic! Wubs and hot tubs and ponies that go dub-dub, what more could you ask for? Witness the descend to insanity all over again with this tasteful and wubtastic remix!
After the acclaimed Fluttersad, a new song from BGM Pony Degeneracy making awesome use of TalkNet for pony voice generation gets released just in time for Nightmare Night! And what an appreciated callback it is! More precisely, it is a token of passion and a testimony that the spirit of FiM is ever active in our hearts and we'll always make fan works about it! The instrumental is actually 5 years old, but I love how the musician generated pony vocals to create the perfect Nightmare Night song!!
Rich in pony vocal samples, what has become kind of the signature of the musician in his music, this new release from SpinScissor exhibits experimental endeavors and a complex atmosphere filled with magical melodies to the brim. This is one delightful Frostbite!
New experimental and all around awesome release by master Nyancat380! With cool Pinkie aesthetics in the video and the cover art on Bandcamp, the song matches the hype with an insane progression of many wonders including Reggae influences! I'm assuming that's the Dembow part, a genre I never heard of before! Definitely an impressive venture into the power of Electronic music, with a clear focus on melodies!
Yes, the title of the track is self-explanatory, but I still wanted to point out that it's actually the concept behind the track intended by the musician indeed! And the happy vibes from such a pony fair are represented here in the music so wonderfully, with those playful and whimsical lead melodies! And the punchy rhythm makes the track quite energetic too! Come on, there's still one booth we haven't checked out yet! And remember kids, when you bake pommes d'amour for a fair, don't use overripe/rotten apples! (obscure reference intended) This track is part of VibePoniez Plaza!
Sampling the beloved song Luna's Future from the episode A Hearth's Warming Tail, Corrosion made such a mystical and entrancing tribute track! The Deathstep wicked drops are such a pleasant surprise, and the guidance of Luna's voice resonates in our souls as we venture further in the frozen grounds of bitter regret about the return of the windigos!
Listen to and download the song from Soundcloud here, and check out the other awesome tracks by Corrosion on their YouTube channel!
If you happen to have played/replayed American McGee's Alice or its sequel Alice Madness Returns recently, you will be in the perfect mood for this remix by The Empty Tomb, that is brimming with delightful dark vibes!! From the mad choirs at 0:16, to dry and black drums, to the scream that you can hear at the drop, this amazing remix is so appreciated as it encompasses the subtle darkness from the original EQG Friendship Games song all while adding so much more and creating such an incredible atmosphere! And it has even more surprises for you, with that genre switch surprising us at the second drop!!
Now I need an EQG-ification of Alice as Sci-Twi, or the other way around! Just imagine Sci-Twi wielding the Vorpal Blade while approaching Principal Cinch..!
May 3rd is Pinkie's birthday, and so newcomer pony musician Hatsune Jedesu made a lovely song to celebrate, chopping vocal samples of her with love in a creative way, along many other samples from the show! And check out that tasty bass guitar! This is definitely promising and I can't wait to see what other fan works Hatsune will have in store for us in the future!
