Another round of concept art has appeared, this time covering a host of topics including that pony up above, along with a bunch of creatures and animals across the G5 universe, and some neat environment shots.
Head on down below for that and more!
The concept art flood continues. Today we have a bunch of concept shots of the Tell Your Tale versions of the ponies as fillies. Who knows what they planned for this idea!
Go get them all below.
There was quite a bit coming from Tell Your Tale before it got canned apparently! A bunch of concept art has been released, showing off unexplored locations, pegasus weather magic ideas, and an interesting bird creature!
Go check it all out below.
We have a LOT of concept art being released lately, with Misty as the big one showing off her development, along with a bunch of portraits and things from both Make Your Mark and Tell Your Tale.
Go get it all below as always!
Beanmouth, Calarts, whatever you want to call it, Tell Your Tale's style was always a sticking point for a lot of people in the fandom. Apparently it almost didn't happen at all according to this concept art piece that has released!
Would you have been happier with one of these other options?
We almost had a very different Tell Your Tale if some of these other designs were picked! And that Ponyverse concept from a while back apparently really did plan to incorporate G4 characters for the 3rd season of Tell Your Tale, which you can find below.
Would these designs have changed your opinion on anything? I'm not a huge fan of the no-nostril option below, but some of these are really cute.
I wonder how much concept stuff from unreleased ideas is floating around out there on hard drives of artists that worked on G5 early on? It's pretty clear that they had big plans for Allura before everything was shuttered. We have a shot of her brother grown up today, along with filly Celestia and Luna, which we did end up getting in Make Your Mark.

The artist JooAnn Loong has posted a bunch of really impressive background concepts from G5. Find them all below as always!
Tell Your Tale definitely has some very pretty backgrounds, and loads of new content in the pipeline for the year. An artist over on Artstation named Vian Teow has uploaded a ton of the stuff they worked on for everyone to check out, including many places we haven't seen actually air yet in the show.
This is your general spoiler warning! Go check it all out below.
A new set of G5 concept art has been found over on Art Station from a 3D Environment and Prop artist named Addy Girard. Included in the mix is this interesting looking castle that appears to have benches like some kind of great banquet hall. It's possible that this was cut content, or it could be a hint of something to come. Speculation is running wild right now. What do you think it is?
Go get the rest of the concepts below!
Freelance concept artist and product designer Sprinklefest has revealed some behind-the-scenes stuff from her work on Hasbro's MLP Pride Month merch design, which features the G3 ponies Skywishes and Star Catcher.
Concept artist Yann Benedi has popped up a bunch of A New Generation concept art over on his Artstation page. Everything from unreleased environmental assets to that crazy metropolis up there are included in the pile

I can't help but get Guild Wars vibes out of this one. An early concept image drawn by P.R.Mayer has revealed a very different looking world for G5 than what we ended up with. They had a Ponyville planned apparently, complete with hobbit holes and crazy looking windmill architecture. I wonder what the show would have been like if we ended up with this?
Thanks to Orangeflower for digging it up!
We now have some storyboards and widescreen versions of some My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale video ads!
The ads are respectively called "Premiere Looks", "Izzy's DIY Crafts" and "Sunny's Super Fruity Smoothie". They were shown (with a narrower aspect ratio) on Facebook and Instagram starting in May 2022, and possibly on other platforms as well.
These were revealed on the portfolio website of Stefani Cottrill, a creative director at Media.Monks, whose role on these ads was "Creative Director, Client Management, Creative + Art Direction, Concept, Design, Production, Creative Effectiveness". Her portfolio page presents some background information about the campaign in addition to the images and videos.
