Check the length before you buy!
Our kitchen designer used this breakfast bar as part of our design without telling us that it would be shorter than the run of cabinets it had to sit on. It only comes in 2000mm and our peninsula is 2200mm. It's left us with a very ugly join due to the black trim and wood grain as well as being in a weak spot which runs part way through where you sit at the other side. B&Q do not do breakfast bars that are longer than 2000mm - something I wish we knew before choosing this as our worktop. It's a shame as it's a lovely worktop, very durable (our fitter went through four blades trying to cut through it) and looks very modern, although has to be glued to the tops of the cabinets as it's too solid to drill into.
