Montana and the West

Welcome to my gallery dedicated to Montana and the West.  As a child I became enamored with everything related to the west - horses, cowboys, Native Americans, and more. I read every Louis L’Amour western I could find and relished in the triumph of good over evil and the vision of the West I discovered in the writing.  "Call of the Wild" by Jack London and "Kavik the Wolf Dog" by Walt Morey, both based in the West albeit at different times, also impacted me greatly.  My favorite childhood vacation was to a Dude Ranch in Colorado.  I still remember my horse for the week - Big Red - the campfires, square dancing, herding cattle, and trail rides. This gallery consists of art created from trip to the Bar W Ranch in Montana a few years ago.  It is dedicated to my love and romanticism of the West and Western culture.  I hope you enjoy!
