New Spider-Noir set photos are here, showing off not only some of the action set pieces in the series but also giving fans their first look at the live-action costume Nicolas Cage will wear.
The new set photos come courtesy of TMZ and others filming an action sequence with a stunt double wearing the Spider-Man Noir costume on top of an old car. The sequence sees Spider-Man Noir struggling to stand up on the car before pantomiming shooting a web onto it and trying to swing off.

Cage is playing Spider-Man Noir in the series, a character who he voiced in animation form in 2018’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Oren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot are the series co-showrunners. They serve as executive producers alongside Harry Bradbeer, Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Amy Pascal. Bradbeer is directing the first two episodes.
What do we know about Spider-Noir?
“The series tells the story of an aging and down-on-his-luck private investigator (Cage) in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life as the city’s one and only superhero,” a description of the show reads.
Along with Cage, it has been announced that New Girl’s Lamorne Morris is playing Robbie Robertson. The cast also includes Brendan Gleeson, Li Jun Li, Abraham Popoola, Jack Huston, Karen Rodriguez, Lukas Haas, Cameron Britton, Cary Christopher, Michael Kostroff, Scott MacArthur, Joe Massingill, Whitney Rice, and Amanda Schull.
Spider-Noir will be the first television series that is set within Sony’s Spider-Man Universe, which kicked off in 2018 with Venom. Other entries within the shared universe include 2021’s Venom: Let There Be Carnage, 2022’s Morbius, and 2024’s Madame Web, while Venom: The Last Dance releases on October 25, 2024. That will be followed by Kraven the Hunter, which arrives on December 13, 2024.
A premiere date for Spider-Noir has not yet been announced. The series will first debut on MGM+ before it will release globally on Amazon Prime Video.
