Keep Summit Trampoline Park, Bellingham WA from opening until Phase 4

The Issue

Summit Trampoline Park in Bellingham, WA is a recreational facility where kids can jump for 13 an hour as accompanied by parents. A Facebook post from the company went live today that they are trying to open by August 12th, 2020. According to the COVID-19 reopening phase plan, they are a recreational facility and should not open until phase 4. Their plan of re opening is stating themselves as a Fitness/Training business despite offering no classes or instructions whatsoever. Under this clause for gyms, they are to have 300 square feet of space per each patron. If Summit were to open like this for phase 2, even at 25% capacity they would be almost entirely filled on their main floor. 25% capacity is sitting at around 50-75 kids and parents. This would also mean for them to be a gym/fitness facility kids would only be able to wear masks directly before and after hopping off the trampolines. Unlike a gym they would not be able to sanitize as they jump. There is only money they're looking for, there is no safety on part of the workers or the jumpers. Let's wait until phase 4, the workers cannot be guaranteed safety until we know COVID is beaten/vaccinated. If our schools are entirely online this season it doesn't make sense that a trampoline park is open.
