These specials were the best South Park material in years. I continue watching the show but the episodes are not as good as the specials (like the last one called "The Streaming Wars" which were great).
Not sure why these weren’t included with season 24. The 4 COVID specials are amongst the best South Park material ever IMO. Last few seasons have been great and got me back into the show after I stopped watching it for some years.
Their opinions aren't really ever part of the show though. They make fun of everything and everyone, as it should be. I remember one of the writers saying "f*** everyone 360°" in the documentary. The show wasn't right wing in the past and it's not woke now. The only issue I've had with the show the past few years is that I don't care about the modern pop culture and social media stuff they made fun of. But that's because I'm old.
Paramount = naughty! It would've made a nice set with those just released September 2022.
I wonder what limbo Season 25's six episodes and the 25th Anniversary Concert has fallen into?
Of course the South Park loving part of me needs to purchase it. Probably next up will be Streaming Wars disc release in 2023.
