When it comes to Police Brutality, the balance of power is biased at its core. It’s not rare that a case is decided by relying on a citizen's word against a police institutionally backed one. In this context, the only way to prove an officer abused its power is by bringing evidence.
In other words, the only way to hold a police officer accountable for its abusive act is by filming it. And while some of them could claim it’s illegal to film an intervention, it is not.
And this is of major importance.
