Mar Flores

Spanish techno producer Mar Flores was born in the industrial town of Puerto de Sagunto in Valencia. As a teenager, found herself inspired by the rave and acid techno scene of the time as “La ruta del Bakalao” had just faded into a decadent illegal outdoor raving movement on the Eastern coast of Spain. Instantly drawn to the sounds of steel pipes and industrial soundscapes, she decided it was time to harness her production skills. With this in mind, she decided to relocate to London to pursue a degree in Sound Engineering. During her time in London, her artistic horizons widened dramatically, having gained valuable new insights into underground rave culture. With her newfound inspiration and sharpened skills, she created her own unique, experimental noise-based live setup. With strong visual influences,
