Pyrate

Pyrate is an up-and-coming UK garage artist based in West Yorkshire, born and raised in the Leeds area. A multi-instrumentalist, producer and DJ, his music embraces and pushes the sounds of 2-step garage, breakbeat, house and speed garage. Having graduated from university in Nottingham, Tom Girling put everything into crafting the sounds he’s known by and excelling his production and song writing skills. He showcased this with his self-released debut EP titled ‘Patterns’, a euphoric amalgamation of speed garage, jungle/breaks and house. Pyrate’s production ensembles passionate drums, thick basslines, and stunning melodics into a beautiful, yet hard hitting union which sets him apart from the status quo of modern garage.
