Through a blend of glistening vocal pieces, strings of dreamy melodies and distinctive rhythms, Ineffekt cleverly takes on a sound that both feels comfortable and illusive. Releases 'long sleeves' (single, 2024) and 'High Hopes' (EP, 2023) on Intercept, as well as a string of remixes including Avalon Emerson's ‘Karaoke Song’ and Luna Morgenstern’s ‘Click Work Drop’ capture the above. Surrounding themselves with influences from a wide range of contemporary music, it’s not so much aiming for a specific, but reaching for a compromise between eras and stylistically diverse sounds.
