Beirut's blend of Western and Arabic music styles has established it as a global cultural hub. Michael, known as “Mashrik," moved from Lebanon to the U.S. in 2015. He began music theory studies at the age of 12, mastering electric guitar and flute. Influenced by electronic music and inspired by New York City's diverse cultural scene, he became a DJ/music producer, infusing his work with his Middle Eastern heritage. Anticipate Mashrik's sound to be distinct and unconventional, incorporating world music elements in his performances. His music is characterized by its melodic richness, groovy rhythms, and energetic beats, creating a vibrant and engaging dancing and listening experience.
