Hatch endorses Trump after meeting

"I totally endorse him," Hatch said, according to Reuters.

Hatch said in a statement before the meeting that he intended to support the GOP nominee all along.

"Now that Donald Trump is the presumptive nominee, I will do what I can to help him run a successful campaign," he said at the time.

Hatch, the Senate president pro tempore, originally endorsed former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush for the White House and then Sen.
