Shahrar is author of book Why Vote Green, and has a PhD in Philosophy from UCL, in which he looked at lying and deception, with specific reference to public life. He entered Green politics after working as a researcher in the European Parliament on the risks of GM food. In 2014 he was elected as a Deputy Leader of the Green Party.

Scott has a BSc (Hons) in Psychology & Human Rights as well as a MA in Intellectual Disabilities & Developmental Disorders. He is registered as a positive behaviour psychologist and works within the NHS. Scott stood as Green candidate in the 2014 local elections and gained 8% - one of the highest results for an individual Green Party candidate in the constituency. "My work entails looking at how we can enable people to claim their rights. It's been noted that once you are trained to identify injustice occurring in society that it's hard to keep quiet - hence my standing as candidate for Brent North. Greens have surged to become the third political party in Brent and I hope to show that the Party provides a choice to vote FOR something, rather than against everyone else."
Daniel lives in Chiswick with his wife and two sons aged 15 and 13. Daniel is an IT consultant and works in Brentford. He is standing because he firmly believes that only the Green Party offers policies for a good and healthy environment and will close the gap between rich and poor. He has campaigned against Airport Expansion, Climate Change and also on Air Pollution.
Ross Hemingway, 35, is married and lives in Carshalton. He currently works as communications officer for international charity Christian Aid. In recent years he has travelled to Philippines, Ghana and India gathering stories of poverty and injustice, to inspire supporters to campaign on climate change, trade and land rights. Locally, he has campaigned against the proposed Beddington Incinerator and proudly marched for the alternative to austerity in central London. He has also demonstrated with War on Want and Public and Commercial Services Union (PCS) activists for a clampdown on tax dodging.

A local resident, Poppy has been campaigning in Barnet for many years, promoting local democracy, environmental and peace issues, and standing for the Greens at local, GLA and general elections.
The dubious privilege of living in the Tory borough that is pioneering outsourcing and council cuts offers a rich outlet for Poppy’s campaigning skills developed over years as a journalist and communications professional in China, Hong Kong and England.
Knowing that Greens offer the only alternative to the false promise of the other neoliberal parties, Poppy is determined to spread the Green vision of environmental and social justice through this campaign.
Local businesswoman Esther Sutton, 41, has lived in Croydon nearly all her life. She is a single mother of two and both her children are at Croydon schools.
Through her involvement with Croydon Old Town Business Association, Croydon Portas Pilot project, Croydon Pubwatch and Croydon BID she is well known in the business community. She was involved in the recent “Are You Safe?” anti-domestic abuse campaign in Croydon and is on the Local Alcohol Action Area steering group. “I believe The Green Party is the only real alternative, and the only party with robust policies on social justice and the environment. I am looking forward to spreading the word, attracting votes as I go, to win this marginal seat.”
Shasha has lived in the constituency since 1982, He is 42 and married with one daughter He has a Politics and Economics degree from University of Wolverhampton. Over the years he has worked as youth worker, Diverse London Ambassador and presently, he is a hotelier. He has been involved in multiple local campaigns, including the Stop The Incinerator campaign, Friends of Thornton Heath Recreation Ground (which he founded) and Croydon Save Our Schools.
Shasha Khan said, “The General Election in 2015 will be the fourth time I'll be standing in Croydon North. The track record I have of serving, protecting and improving the community I live in is a good indicator what people can expect if they elect me as their MP.”
Campaigner Peter Underwood, 43, has lived in the constituency for over 12 years. He currently works as the Warden of South Norwood Country Park, helping local primary schools and residents to appreciate the natural world on their doorstep. Peter moved to London after university and he spent a number of years working in the civil service. He is the current chair Croydon Friends of the Earth and a committee member of both the Friends of Littleheath Woods and the Selsdon Residents Association. “Voters in Croydon South are being ignored by the other parties - they assume that people will just vote the same way that they always have. I believe that people are looking for a change and the Green Party provides a positive and sensible set of polices for the future."

A long-standing activist for the Green Party, Douglas is a member of the Bush Hill Park Residents’ Association, the Enfield Alliance Against the Cuts and the local United Nations Association. Douglas is standing to work against what he describes as the “increasing dominance of the car”, tackling congestion and emissions to the benefit of pedestrians and cyclists.
Douglas will also be pursuing an agenda of ensuring homes are insulated and renewable energy sources are properly considered.
David is a retired management consultant, visiting fellow at the Cass Business School, Practical Action supporter and active member of the Green Party. "As a humanist I believe in the power of thought to understand problems and of imagination and co-operation to address them. As a trained scientist I see the scale of the climate change problem and the lack of meaningful response - which is why I am standing as a Green Parliamentary Candidate. "
Jean Robertson-Molloy has lived in the area for fifteen years. She recently led a local campaign for 20pmh limits on a local road. "I want to make Enfield a place where children and older people can walk safely and happily. As a retired social worker I am interested in the welfare of the whole community." Jean has also received national recognition for her work on women's and family rights as part of the Movement for an Adoption Apology.
Tony Firkins has lived in the local area for over 30 years. He works for a mobile phone network operator, specializing in the overall reliability of the service and the IT systems that make it all work.
His major environmental interest is in climate change and the policy required to address this. He believes in the maxim of "Think global, act local" which has lead him to be active in local campaigns against Heathrow expansion and addressing air pollution.
As a keen cyclist and walker, he wishes to see Feltham and Heston less dominated by the car and a much greener London.
Adele Ward has lived in Golders Green for many years and has two sons aged 17 and 18 who attend Hendon School and University College London. After a career in journalism, Adele is now an author and academic and co-owns Ward Wood Publishing, one of Golders Green’s local businesses. She will tackle the poverty caused by austerity; ensure education is available to all; clean up London’s air and creating safer streets; and work with candidates in neighbouring boroughs on the regeneration of Brent Cross.
Dr. Johnson is an internationally-recognised expert on nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation, with more than 30 years experience in the field. “Local people highlight the need for more affordable housing, finding environmentally sustainable alternatives to the dam nonsense that will protect both Hampstead Heath and homes from flooding, and defending local businesses and homes against the folly of HS2, while supporting the re-nationalisation of our rail services.”
Born in 1986 and lives with his parents and a younger brother, who attends Kisharon School. Ben works in horticulture as well as active involvement in the Young Greens in London and beyond.
Locally, he has represented the Greens in many campaigns in and around Hendon.
Son of a computer programmer and from a family of intellectuals, he demands a safe world for future generations, along with fairness and social justice in the workplace and in the world.
He believes joining the anti-globalisation movement offers opportunities to break from the controlled main stream media and gain technical skills.
Natalie has been the Leader of the Green Party since 2012. “Having stood in Holborn and St Pancras in 2010, I am proud to once again represent the Green Party in this constituency in 2015. Dissatisfaction with the three largest parties is widespread. Huge numbers of voters are looking elsewhere and we can offer a professional, determined, alternative. With a majority of the 28% Lib Dem vote from 2010 looking for a new home, and Frank Dobson loyalists sizing up a new Labour candidate, we’ve an opportunity to build towards being serious contenders in Holborn and St Pancras.”

Gordon Peters was until recently an international health and social development consultant. Gordon first came to Hornsey & Wood Green from Scotland in the late 1960s. Spanning many years' commitment to community activism and social work, he was Director of Social Services in Hackney in the 1980s where as a chief officer he pioneered anti-racist practice, transformed child care and led the way in community partnerships. As a senior citizen, Gordon is now particularly interested in raising the visibility and respect for older people, bridging the generation gap, and for doing something about the deteriorating state of health and social care by fighting the cuts and saying no to the coalition government’s austerity agenda.
Cllr Caroline Russell is the Green Party councillor for Highbury East within the Islington North constituency. Caroline has lived in Islington since 1986, initially in Kings Cross and since 1992 in Highbury. She is 52 and married with three children. A walking and cycling campaigner, Caroline specialises in advocacy on behalf of pedestrians and for more people-friendly streets. She is the Green Party's national spokesperson on Local Transport.
Charlie Kiss is the Islington Green Party Campaign Coordinator having lived in London for 38 years. He works for Camden Council in their repairs costing department as an Order Compliance Officer. Charlie is an active local member of the Green Party and was involved from the start in campaigns against tax avoidance, campaigned for affordable housing and has led Tenants’ Associations.
‘Kingston is being over-developed and at the same time the Tories and Lib Dems are cutting services, as a result we are facing shortages in schools, health services and police. The local transport system is now at breaking point, I will fight to make public services better and fairer for all’.
Clare moved to Surbiton in 2009 to study at Kingston University. Since graduating in Politics and English Literature, she calls the borough home. She now works as an advice worker at the University's Students' Union, providing support and advocacy for vulnerable members, working closely with students impacted by changes to funding, welfare and academic support. Clare is involved in a number of local campaigns, including Kingston Keep Our NHS Public and the new campaign to build a community garden on Tolworth Broadway.
"Whilst considering all Green Party Policies I am particularly interested in Senior Issues as they are the most vulnerable in our communities and not always able to speak up for themselves. Seniors are virtually invisible, and can be ignored as they do not have the opportunity to voice their concerns." Maureen is co-Chair of the Green Seniors group.

"I have lived in North Kingston since 2001, although my connection with the area goes back over 30 years when I moved to Strawberry Hill with my parents. As a family we know how blessed we are to live in such a beautiful area with its open spaces, river front and excellent amenities. I am an active campaigner in my neighbourhood, organising the protest against Berkeley Homes opening up a road between the new housing development on the site of Latchmere House and Latchmere Lane.
"Issues I want to focus on include fighting Heathrow expansion, ensuring children have school places where they need them in connection with the local council, bringing in 20mph on our roads across the constituency, improving cycling provision so more people feel safe to get on their bikes instead of using their cars, stopping the cuts to Kew Gardens and keeping our high streets lined with local shops rather than anonymous chains. I will fight for a building campaign by the state to create affordable, low-energy homes. We must keep the NHS, stop TTIP, renationalise our utilities and railways, stop fracking and focus on renewables to ensure the future safety of our energy needs."

Jonathan hit the headlines during the last General Election campaign when he publicly confronted David Cameron on the street about incorrect information published about Conservative plans for disabled children. Channel 4 checked the facts and revealed Jonathan was and David Cameron was wrong.
Jonathan has lived in the local area all his life, and is currently an author, journalist and campaigner instrumental in saving The Glebe sheltered housing in Streatham.

Maeve currently works as a cycle instructor and leader. She is a member of 'Get Sutton Cycling' and has campaigned with 'Stop the Incinerator' group. She is a supporter of 'Keep Our St Helier Hospital' campaign, Sutton's 'Keep Our NHS Public' and seeks to counter the secretive EU-US deal (known as TTIP), which threatens democracy, social justice, jobs, small businesses and our public services.
Maeve resides in Wallington and has lived in the area for over 20 years.
Esther has lived in the Tooting area on and off since 2005 and cares deeply about the community. She is a secondary school Chemistry teacher and became a Green Party member 4 years ago.

My other interest lie in the welfare and rights of women. Christine de Leon is a journalist and writer on ethical, sustainability and social issues, with a particular focus on the fashion industry and its effect on the environment and on workers’ rights. A Canadian by birth, Christine has lived in Tottenham for the past nine years and is a vocal ambassador for the area and its people; She is active in her local residents’ association, sits on theBruce Grove neighbourhood policing team ward panel, and is a shareholder in the Lordship Hub Co-operative.
Christine lives in Bruce Grove with her husband and two children, who attend local state schools.
Tanya has lived in the Borough of Richmond for 19 years. "My work for local charities, clarified for me the gulf between the austerity rhetoric and the reality for people struggling with the bedroom tax, insecure jobs and poverty wages.
"I joined the Green party because it is the only party which has a humane response to the current economic crisis. I believe the other parties have shamefully ditched their pre-election environmental promises and treated sustainability as an unaffordable luxury."
Graham has lived in Ruislip Manor for over 3 decades. He has campaigned with Hillingdon Greens to keep Harefield, Hillingdon, and Mount Vernon hospitals open and their services available to local residents, and is standing to protect public services from cuts and privitisation, oppose austerity and reduce inequality. "A more equal society benefits both rich and poor in terms of health and quality of life."
Graham is an active campaigner against a third runway at Heathrow. "The Green Party is the only major party that is not only opposed to expansion of Heathrow, but also opposed to expansion of any airport in the UK and opposed to all new airports."
