Spain's victory in last summer's under 19 European Championships meant they qualified once again for the under 20 World Cup. This year the competition is taking place in Canada, and the youngsters were drawn in group B together with Uruguay, Zambia and Jordan, with matches against all three taking place in the city of Burnaby, Brittish Columbia. The tournament runs from 1st to 22nd July, and warm up games include a fixture against the Czech Republic later this month. (03.03.07)

Spain will be taking part in the Youth World Cup after the under 19 side won the European Championship last summer. The competition will be taking place in an around the area of Utrecht in Holland from 10th June to 2nd July, with 24 sides competing. Spain have been drawn in Group C together with Morocco, Honduras and Chile, and will play all their group matches in Doetinchem. As a warm up to the tournament, the under 20 side will play their under 21 counterparts during Easter week. (16.03.05)
