Johann has had the privilege to represent the people of Glasgow Pollok since 1999, when the Scottish Parliament was first established. She lives in Glasgow with her husband Archie and 2 children Fay and Colin.

Glasgow Pollok constituency is in the South West of the city and includes the council wards of Greater Pollok, Craigton and a small part of Govan.

Johann's first priority is always to help her constituents. She holds regular surgeries and is also happy to be contacted by phone, e-mail or letter. Appointments outside surgeries can be arranged and she is also willing to visit constituents at home.

Personal Interests:
In the little spare time I have left over from work and being an even busier taxi driver for my 2 young children, I like to read, watch Coronation Street and try to keep fit by a mixture of walking, jogging and dancing.

My political interests are focussed particularly on tackling poverty, women’s rights and the rights of disabled people and other groups who experience discrimination. I am also a great supporter and advocate of the Co-op movement and of Fair Trade.

Both my parents were Gaels from the Isle of Tiree – I have a deep and abiding passion for Gaelic and the Hebridean culture, mixed with a love for my own city.
