High Places, Still Touring
A theory: High Places tour so often because it's easy for them. They only have to find room in the van for Rob Barber's table full of weird drum-looking things and Mary Pearson's microphone with jingle bells on it, and it's not like either of them really takes up all that much room themselves. Plus they're friends with every other young indie rock band in the country, and who wants to spend winter in New York anyway?
The Brooklyn dream-pop duo is about to head out for another round of dates, including a bunch in the Northeast with Soft Circle and a few Down Under with Dan Deacon.
