CZSO Public Database (VDB) is closely linked to statistical metainformation system of the CZSO, especially to the system of indicators, classifications and code lists.
Every statistical figure in the database is identified by several codes specifying subject matter area, time period and territory with a link to the data source. In addition, all data in VDB are supplemented with additional metainformation, e.g. information on quality, release period and indication whether the given figure is the newest in its time series.
