Story: Sagar (Khesari lal Yadav) lives with his parents, brother Shiv (Satyendra Singh) and Aarti (Rani Chaturvedi), his brother's wife. Aarti's sister Pooja (Smrity Sinha) gets admission in college in Aarti's town so she comes to stay with Aarti and her in-laws.
In the college, a senior student Prem teases pooja but Sagar accosts him and beats him up. Soon, Pooja and Sagar fall in love and think of getting married. The family remains unaware about their relation except Aarti, who is pregnant. While Saagar was away for some work, Aarti goes to labor and is rushed to hospital. Aarti dies during the delivery but the child survives.
The family immediately proposes that Pooja should marry Shiv, so that the new born would have a mother. Meanwhile , Prem rams his car into Sagar’s bike when he returning home. Sagar falls into the river and is presumed dead. When the family gets the news of Sagar’s death, Pooja agrees to marry Shiv.
Meanwhile, Sagar has been rescued by Fisherman Hariya (Shankaran), who takes him home and looks after him with the help of his sister Jhumki (Anjana Singh) . Sagar has lost his memory and so, he agrees to marry Jhumki when the proposal comes along. However , Matru , who loves Jhumki , attacks Sagar, when he hits Sagar on the head, the latter regains his lost memory. He rushes home to find Pooja’s wedding rituals in progress.
Will Sagar get Pooja back and will Shiv give his consent to their marriage, forms the climax of the story.
Movie Review: The screenplay is average with an exceptionally cliched plot. The film has average performances by actors however, Prakash Jais and Santosh Srivastava's comic timing is appreciable. Khesarilal is not impressive and irks with his performance as a person suffering with amnesia. Smriti Sinha's performance is commendable. Anjana Singh looks stunning however she has nothing much to do for her part.
