Frax Finance Monthly Report #40 | June 2024. A round-up of Frax Finance updates in a few minutes. Project Updates: [Partnership] Frax Fina
Hello Sers,
We have kindly updated the FRAX UI, the biggest change being related to veFXS.
We have deployed a new Yield Distributor to Fraxtal (0x21359d1697e610e25C8229B2C57907378eD09A2E). In the near future (we will announce ahead of time the specific date), this Yield Distributor will be the only place to collect your veFXS yield. The mainnet Yield Distributor will stop accruing protocol yield.
The Fraxtal YD looks at multiple places for your veFXS (via the VeFXSAggregator contract at Fraxtal 0x176A4e081653EbB8a2246BAfbfCf663782426531) :
1) Your mainnet veFXS (Mainnet 0xc8418aF6358FFddA74e09Ca9CC3Fe03Ca6aDC5b0): It does this via L1VeFXS on Fraxtal (0x942f912c9295b774d4ca36BABee1f114d3d6B4a5), which accepts proofs for your mainnet veFXS position. If you make a change to your mainnet veFXS position, you will need to re-prove your position on Fraxtal. We added a button on the UI to facilitate this, and the Frax Team will run a bot to do it for you automatically from time to time. In the future, we hope this bot will be improved and entirely event log driven, but for now, it will be dumb-called periodically based on time.
2) FPISLocker (Fraxtal 0x437E9F65cA234eCfed12149109587139d435AD35): veFPIS on Mainnet will be unlocked shortly. You will need to re-lock your FPIS on this FPISLocker contract on Fraxtal. You will earn 0.333x-1.333x veFXS based on your lock time. On March 22 2028, you will be able to convert your FPIS to FXS at a 2.5-to-1 ratio, as per the Singularity vote https://gov.frax.finance/t/fip-341-frax-singularity-roadmap-part-1/2987. If your FPISLocker position is still locked on this date, it will be converted to FXS and rolled over into a veFXS position with the same end date. If it was unlocked, it will be converted to FXS and you can withdraw it freely.
3) VestedFXS (Fraxtal 0x007FD070a7E1B0fA1364044a373Ac1339bAD89CF): This is the Fraxtal version of veFXS that has been alive for some time now. Nothing changed here.
4+) The VeFXSAggregator contract can accept new sources of veFXS for future expansion. Currently no additional sources are in use.
There are two IMPORTANT caveats with the new yield distributor:
A) If you make ANY change (new lock, extend lock, add to lock) to items 1-4 above, you will need to checkpoint on the new yield distributor.
B) If ANY position or individual lock in 1-4 above expires you will stop accruing yield FOR EVERYTHING. For example, if you have 2 Fraxtal VestedFXS locks, one for 10 veFXS that expires in 2 weeks and one for 100000 veFXS that expires in 3 years, after two weeks, you will not earn ANY more yield, even though your big 100K VestedFXS lock is still valid. You MUST re-checkpoint after ANY position expires. We hope to fix this limitation at some point, either via a proxy upgrade or a redeploy. If the latter, we will mass checkpoint everyone again so the transition should be more seamless.
As with the L1VeFXS proving, the Frax Team plans to have a bot do this checkpointing for you as a convenience. It will look for recently-expired positions and re-checkpoint your position for you. However, at least initially, it will just be time based and not event driven, so ultimately it is up to you to make sure you re-checkpoint after anything expires. We hope to improve the bot over time. Thankfully gas is cheap on Fraxtal.

[FIP - 341] Frax Singularity Roadmap Part 1
Author Sam Kazemian & various Frax contributors and community members Motivation The Frax Singularity Roadmap aims to unify all aspects of Frax into a unified vision and roadmap. This is the first in a series of posts outlining the vision. The Frax Singularity…
veFPIS has now been unlocked and rewards for it stopped. You can withdraw your FPIS here: https://app.frax.finance/fpifpis/vefpis. The withdrawn FPIS can now be bridged over to Fraxtal's FPIS Locker and accrue rewards there (https://app.frax.finance/fpifpis/fpislocker). After March 22, 2028, unlocked locks will convert 2.5-to-1 for FXS. Any positions still locked could either wait additional time until they unlock (then 2.5-1 convert freely), or roll over 2.5-1 into a veFXS position with an identical lock end date.
Additionally, there will no longer be new Ethereum Mainnet Yield Distributor FXS rewards accruing. Rewards will now accrue on Fraxtal, and you can claim them here: https://app.frax.finance/fxtl-vefxs. You can still claim your old rewards on mainnet.

Dear Community
If you are not LPs in FRAX-DAI or FRAX-USDC Uni v3 gauge, you can safely disregard this message as this is for LPs that wish to migrate to Fraxtal.
Per FIP-379
https://snapshot.org/#/frax.eth/proposal/0xa709628a6d667596a7a8d4fd677369ba6bafdaea4a8d034317e1d8c22119fa79
The QuitCreditor has been enabled for Uniswap V3 FRAX/DAI and Uniswap V3 FRAX/DAI. This means you can choose (but are not forced) to immediately exit certain positions and receive FXB20291231 on FXB at a rate of 1 FXB per $0.806 of UniV3 value. The NFT will be unwound and the proceeds collected by Frax Protocol. This is not reversible if you choose to migrate. The process is as follows:
0) MAKE SURE you have access to your identical address on Fraxtal to receive the FXB tokens. If not (e.g. you are a Gnosis Safe), you will have to do Step (6) manually (on Etherscan or otherwise) and specify the recipient address you want on Fraxtal. We hope to improve the UI with this feature.
1) Go to https://app.frax.finance/staking/univ3-frax-dai (FRAX/DAI) or https://app.frax.finance/staking/univ3-frax-usdc (FRAX/USDC)
2) Wait for your positions near the bottom of the screen to load. This may take a few seconds.
3) Under the Actions column for the stake you want to "Quit", click "EXIT TO FRAXTAL [XXX.XX FXB20291231]"
4) You will be prompted first to allow the QuitCreditor contract to "migrate" for you
5) Next, you will be prompted to collect your entire rewards.
6) After this, you will finally be prompted to execute the quit.
7) Wait a few minutes
😍 Your address on Fraxtal should now have some FXB20291231 tokens.
You still have the option to wait until your lock expires, whereupon you can collect your UniV3 NFT and do with it as you please. Otherwise, migrators can enjoy Fraxtal yield, FXTL points opportunities, and more immediately with your FXB tokens.

Dear Frax Community,
veFXS boosts have been enabled for the following Fraxtal gauge farms: Fraxswap V2 FRAX/FPI, Fraxswap V2 FRAX/FXS, Fraxswap V2 FRAX/sfrxETH, Fraxswap V2 FRAX/wfrxETH, and Convex SQUID/wfrxETH. You can now get a veFXS weight boost on these farms like you do for farms on Ethereum Mainnet. Please claim your existing rewards or otherwise interact with the farm in order to trigger it to recognize your veFXS.

Dear Community,
Per the recent vote, Snapshot voting will now be done on Fraxtal. Snapshot should pick up all of your voting power sources (Mainnet veFXS, Fraxtal FXS, Fraxtal veFXS, and Fraxtal FPISLocker) EXCEPT Mainnet FXS. You would need to bridge your FXS over to Fraxtal to receive the 1:1 votes for it, or lock it in Mainnet veFXS (which has an existing balance proof system on Fraxtal).
If you are either 1) Delegating or 2) Unable to access your Mainnet address on Fraxtal, please see the docs for more details.
There is a new test vote here.
