I see Terraria being compared to Minecraft quiet often which is fair. There are three core ideas that they share the blocky procedurally generated world, crafting esque progression system, and the creative expression you can get lost in when building and designing structures. At first the game might seem relatively boring with it's "2D Minecraft feel." However, it's a survival adventure game where you progress from attacking slimes with a few incredibly basic items/weapons to flying through the sky facing off against multiple over the top bosses with items/weapons that seem to come straight from your childhood imagination. I high recommend this game on sale or full price you'll get your money out of it. So why wait?
