User has contributed to this wiki very well.Should be admin.Reception123 / Receptie123 (talk) 15:51, 22 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Candidate's acceptance:
Be advised, I do not consider running for adminship to be a popularity contest. I will not be anyone's "buddy" (as someone suggested) just because they support this nomination. If that's what you're looking for, feel free to oppose.
I do not think that admins are more important than other editors. I do not think admins are infallible. All I can promise is that I would do my best to improve the quality of Simple English Wikipedia, the same as I have always done but with a few more tools. If that's the kind of admin you're looking for, then I welcome your support. --Auntof6 (talk) 03:58, 25 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Co-nomination by Chenzw: Our RfP archives go back at least 8 years. Broadly speaking, where it comes to candidate ability and suitability, we see a distribution between two extremes. Of one of these extremes would be candidates who are clearly able and deserving, but have turned down nominations in the past/took a deal of convincing to rise up to the challenge :P. I am pleased to introduce Auntof6 as another example of such an editor. As much as we say that adminship is no big deal, there will be higher expectations. With great(er) power bestowed by the additional buttons comes great(er) responsibility. I am confident of Auntof6's level-headedness and degree of experience, and trust that the additional tools granted will be a great positive to the project.
- (not originally intended to be part of the nomination statement) To all who are considering this candidate, I invite you to take a closer look at the candidate's acceptance statement. The willingness to voice out concerns, while not being afraid of offending others, is what most of us would probably want to see in an administrator. Chenzw Talk 04:28, 25 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Support
[change source]- (Beat the noms support) No brainer - and the acceptance speech in itself shows that this user has their head screwed on. Excellent contributions, an asset to the wiki, and will make a fantastic administrator. Goblin 05:20, 25 June 2013 (UTC) I ♥ Pmlineditor![reply]
- Strong support. Candidate has made over 30,000 great contributions to this wiki and also a lot of content work. Great candidate; excellent work over at reverting vandalism, fixing categories and redirects, among other similar things. Giving this contributor the mop will do even more cleanup tasks. ~ curtaintoad ~~ talk ~ 06:35, 25 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Strong support - This is a no-brainer. I didn't read anything before voting, except the title of this page. --Arctic Kangaroo (✉ • ✎) 06:39, 25 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Glad you decided to accept. Excellent editor. You will no doubt use the tools very well. Osiris (talk) 07:39, 25 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

- Most certainly. -Mh7kJ (talk) 10:21, 25 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Strong Support - I offered a nomination a few times. I won't add in a nomination because I don't like nominations after the page has went live and voting has started, not the users fault - I just don't like it. I support this user very strongly and I am very glad they have decided to accept and run for the tools. Auntof6 has proven herself to be very astute and often the voice of reason here. I've never seen a decision of hers that was contentious and the sheer workload that the user puts into this wikipedia is impressive. I'm rarely as sure of any candidate as I am of Auntof6. - Support Though I hope they remember the rule of thumb that you can't delete your own notability speedies. And that you probably should not delete categories you emptied yourself. Otherwise no problems at all. :) -DJSasso (talk) 16:00, 25 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Strongly Support - This user should be an admin! --Aaqib Hola! 16:36, 25 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
