[change source]There seems to be some confusion between what an exponential function actually is. The name suggests that it involves exponents, perhaps variable, but every source I have ever come across mention exponential functions as e^x, not a^x. [change source]To me, it looks like talking about limits in the introduction somewhat detracts from the simplicity of the article. I believe that should be removed. JoeHF (talk) 00:33, 27 July 2013 (UTC)
