Santiago Peña Palacios (Spanish pronunciation: [sanˈtjaɣo ˈpeɲa paˈlasjos]; born 16 November 1978) is a Paraguayan politician and economist. He became the 52nd President of Paraguay on 15 August 2023. He was the Minister of Finance of Paraguay from 2015 to 2017.[3] He is a member of the Colorado Party. He ran for president before in 2018.[4][5]
