Description
The present invention relates to a holder for a portable device that holds a portable device such as a smartphone and is electrically connected to the portable device.
Generally, portable devices are provided with external connection terminals (jacks) for connection with external devices for communication and charging. For example, when charging, a plug provided at the end of a cable extending from the charger is inserted into an external connection terminal (jack) of such a portable device. In view of the difficulty of such insertion work and accompanying work (such as searching for a jack or opening a jack cap), Patent Document 1 below converts a flat terminal by attaching a terminal conversion adapter to a jack of a portable terminal. Therefore, it is possible to charge by simply setting the mobile terminal on the table. The flat terminal of the terminal conversion adapter is in contact with and electrically connected to the spring terminal portion of the pedestal. In addition, if it is a portable terminal provided with a flat terminal, a terminal conversion adapter is unnecessary.

FIG. 12 is a perspective view of the portable device holder 5 in a state where the portable device 1 is held. FIGS. 13A to 13C are explanatory diagrams of the mounting process of the mobile device 1 to the mobile device holder 5. 13A to 13C, the front support portion 51 of the portable device holder 5 is partially omitted. A slide guide groove 71 is formed in the rear support portion 53 (a slide guide groove (not shown) is similarly formed in the front support portion 51), and the slide cover 55 is slidably supported. When the portable device 1 is attached to the holder 5, the slide cover 55 is opened, the portable device 1 is inserted from the upper opening of the portable device holder 5, and then the slide cover 55 is closed. A leaf spring portion 70 as an urging means is integrally provided on the lower surface of the slide cover 55, and urges the portable device 1 downward (to the elastic ring 7 side).
FIG. 14A is an enlarged front view (before connection) in which the connection portion between the adapter 2 of the portable device 1 and the spring connector 6 of the holder 5 for portable device is taken as a cross section. FIG. 14B is an enlarged front view (after connection). FIG. 15A is an enlarged side view (before connection). FIG. 15B is an enlarged side view (after connection). As shown in these drawings, the adapter 2 is lowered and the concave portion 24 of the adapter 2 is put on the connector housing 60 of the spring connector 6, so that the electrode surface 31 of the conductor portion 30 of the adapter 2 and the terminal pin of the spring connector 6 can be obtained. The tip portions 66 of the 65 are in contact with each other and are electrically connected to each other. The terminal pin 65 is pressed by the electrode surface 31 and contracts, and the distal end portion 66 retracts. Of the four terminal pins 65, two of the large diameters are for power supply and two of the small diameters are for signals. That is, power supply and signal transmission / reception can be performed between the portable device 1 and the portable device holder 5. Although not shown, a cable is electrically connected to the base end surface of each terminal pin 65 by soldering, for example, and the terminal pin 65 is electrically connected to a substrate (not shown) by this cable. The elastic ring 7 is pressed against the adapter housing 20 over the entire circumference. Thus, it is possible to prevent water from entering through the gap between the adapter housing 20 and the connector housing 60 (a watertight space can be formed between the adapter housing 20 and the connector housing 60).
FIG. 16A is a front perspective view of a state in which the portable device holder 5 holding the portable device 1 is fixed to the stand 8. FIG. 16B is a rear perspective view of the same. FIG. 17A is a front perspective view of the stand 8 and the portable device holder 5 separated from each other. FIG. 17B is a rear perspective view of the same. When the button 81 of the stand 8 is pressed and the pair of claws 83 are brought close together, the claw 83 is inserted into the engagement hole 84 on the back surface of the portable device holder 5 and then the button 81 is released. The portable device holder 5 can be fixed to the stand 8. Further, the swing angle of the portable device holder 5 can be adjusted by loosening the screw 82 of the stand 8. The stand 8 is for in-vehicle use in the illustrated example, and the bottom surface has adhesiveness, and is bonded and fixed to, for example, the upper surface of a dashboard of a car. Since the structure of the stand 8 is well known, further detailed description is omitted.
According to this embodiment, the following effects can be achieved.
(1) Conventionally, waterproofing of the portable device holder has not been particularly taken into consideration, but in this embodiment, the connector insertion hole 58 is watertightly sealed by providing the elastic ring 7, and the adapter housing 20 and the connector housing are further sealed. Since watertight sealing is also performed with respect to 60 (watertight space is formed), waterproofness is enhanced. In particular, in the case of in-vehicle use, drinks and the like are often spilled in a vibrating vehicle, and thus high waterproofness is required. However, this embodiment is suitable for such use.
(2) Since the rib 62 is provided between the terminal pins 65 projecting from the upper surface of the connector housing 60, even if water enters, a short circuit between the terminal pins 65 is prevented.
(3) Since the adapter 2 can be assembled simply by inserting the conductor portion 30 into the saddle adapter housing 20, the process is simple compared to insert molding.
