Abstract
The invention relates to a stented biological heart valve for replacing a natural heart valve, comprising a valve frame (2), semilunar valves (5) fastened thereto and a fastening ring (10) formed on an axial end (8) of the valve frame for fastening the heart valve in a blood vessel, wherein the diameter of the valve frame can be varied, at least on the axial end thereof facing the fastening ring, in such a way that the diameter of the valve frame can be increased relative to the fastening ring after the insertion of the heart valve into the blood vessel.
