Abstract

 回転体に電極を接触させることなく軸受にかかる予圧を求めることができ、製造コストの低減を図ると共に、装置部品の長寿命化を図ることができる軸受装置を提供する。軸方向に並ぶ複数の転がり軸受3A,3Bの軌道輪3i,3i(3g,3g)間に間座4(5)が介在し転がり軸受3A,3Bが予圧を受ける軸受装置であって、いずれか一の転がり軸受3Aにおける固定輪3gに電気的に接続された電極11、および固定輪3gに対して固定状態の部材に設けられ回転輪3iに対し一の転がり軸受3Aとは別の静電容量発生部3Bを介して電気的に接続された電極12を設け、これら一対の電極11,12間の静電容量Cを測定する静電容量測定手段9を設け、この静電容量測定手段9の測定値から転がり軸受3A,3Bの予圧を検出する予圧検出手段10を設けた。
