- the invention relates to a weldable attachment for an electrical contact, in particular for a ground connection.
- Weldable fasteners are used, for example, in automotive engineering, where they are used to produce an electrical ground contact. From EP 0 640 404 it is known how such an electrical contact is attached to a metal sheet. In order to avoid contamination of the electrical contact surfaces, a protective cap is placed on a threaded bolt. This bolt with a protective cap is then connected to the metal sheet by welding.
