Abstract

The invention relates to a picture holder for interchangeably keeping and presenting mainly two-dimensional images such as photos, art prints, drawings, pictures or similar. The picture holder consists of a support plate (1), a viewing panel (2) and a picture (3) to be placed between them. The support plate and the viewing panel are arched in the direction of a longitudinal axis and either the support plate consists of an elastic material and the viewing panel is rigid or the viewing panel consists of an elastic material and the support plate is rigid. The arrangement is held together by frame strip sections (4) with an integrated guiding groove (5).

The object of the invention is to provide an innovative image holder with a simple structure for storing and presenting images without disturbing optical distortions and reflections when viewing.

The object is achieved in that the support plate and the viewing window are curved in the direction of a longitudinal axis, wherein either the support plate is made of elastic material and the viewing window is stiff or the viewing window is made of elastic material while the support plate is rigid, and the support plate is inserted Image and viewing window are held together in guide grooves, which are located in the side frame profile strips.
