Description

The invention relates to a shock neutral to protect human body parts le in the form of a cushion made of plastic.
It is known that in particular motorcyclists use protective clothing, such as one-piece or multi-part suits made of leather and / or synthetic material. These protective clothing offers extensive protection in the event of a fall by the most vulnerable parts of the body being protected by appropriate shock-neutralizers. These shock neutralizers integrated in the protective clothing reduce in particular the risk of bruises and abrasions. An important disadvantage of the known shock neutrators is that they must have a considerable volume in order to be able to absorb the expected impacts almost completely. However, this has the consequence that the protective clothing in the area of the shock neutralizers is voluminous and therefore not particularly attractive. Finally, it is also important that the known shock neutralizers are not very flexible and must be adapted to the respective body part. Based on the above prior art, the invention has for its object to further develop the generic shock neutral sator so that it takes up relatively small volume with particularly good damping properties and is easy to manufacture.
The object is achieved in the generic Stoßneutralisator according to the invention by a group consisting of polymeric plastic body, embedded in the particles are which are destroyed upon impact and / or absorb the impact energy.
It can be seen that the invention is implemented in any case when the actual shock neutralizer consists of energy-absorbing or structure-destructible particles which are embedded in a polymeric plastic and can therefore adapt easily to the characteristics of the body part to be protected. The actual energy absorption takes place in that the particles, e.g. Granules, beads or other small particles of polystyrene foam or cork that do not necessarily become elastically deformed on impact, but are rather destroyed. The impact energy is therefore converted into the destruction energy of the particles. The particles are expediently very small.
Further expedient and advantageous refinements of the invention emerge from the subclaims.
A particularly useful embodiment provides that the body is made of polyurethane, while the particles are made of styrofoam. As part of this The idea of the invention is particularly expedient if the body consists of foamed polyurethane. In order to be able to easily introduce the shock-neutralizer into jackets or suits, a further expedient embodiment of the invention provides that the cushion has the shape of a plate, the area of which is larger than the area of the body part to be protected. In order to be able to protect the body part optically, it is expedient if the pad has partially different thicknesses, the thicker sections being arranged in this region of the body part to be protected, where the main loads on the body part are to be expected. The essential advantage of the invention is therefore not only the simple and problem-free manufacture of the shock-neutral isator, but also the fact that it is extremely light, especially when it is a body made of foamed polyurethane. Since the impact resizer is deformable, it does not have to take the special features of the body part to be protected into account during its manufacture. For all parts of the body that are to be protected, a shock absorber can rather be produced and then cut to size.
In the drawing, an EL Ibogens protector 10 is shown, which consists of plastic and in which particles 12, 14, 16 made of polystyrene foam are embedded. The elbow protection is adapted to the shape of the user elbow, but is elastically deformable. The particles 12, 14, 16 are distributed approximately uniformly in the body 8. The peculiarity of the particles formed as microparticles is that they either destroy or elastically deform them on impact become. The arrangement of the particles within the body 8 can also change. Because the body 8 is not only a carrier of the particles 12, 14, 16, but also a binder that is elastically connected to the particles. If force is now exerted on the shock neutralizer, it deforms elastically, whereby the particles inside the body can be destroyed, displaced or deformed.
