Abstract

A protection and storage bag includes a main opening configured to be closed by rolling up, the opening defining an opening perimeter. The bag further includes a flexible or hinged anti-theft member having a first free end, a central part linked to a portion of the opening perimeter and a second free end, the two free ends of the anti-theft member being configured to cooperate with a locking system in order to lock the anti-theft member in a closed position; an anti-rotation system configured to prevent any relative rotation between the anti-theft member and the portion of the opening perimeter; and an anti-turn system for preventing the anti-theft member from being turned by twisting when the bag is closed by rolling up and locked by the locking system.

Description

    TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • The technical field of the invention is that of storage bags and panniers including a protection element against theft.
  • The present invention relates to a protection bag and in particular a storage and protection bag being closed by rolling up.
  • The present invention is particularly adapted to the storage bag for cycling especially enabling a bike helmet and/or a few cycling accessories to be stored.
  • TECHNOLOGICAL BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • There are numerous situations in which an individual is forced to leave his/her bag unattended. A beach for example can be mentioned, where one leaves one's bag while swimming, or changing rooms in which one leaves a sport bag while training or bikes on which one leaves a pannier holding different bulky stuff, especially a bike helmet.
  • These situations are always risky. Indeed, it is easy for a thief to steal either the bag if it is not attached, or the bag content, through the main opening if the bag is open or if it has a non-secured closing, or by cutting the soft material of the bag with a sharp object if stealing the bag is not easy.
  • There is therefore a need, for an individual, to be able to secure his/her storage bag in his/her absence to prevent any theft, whether of the bag or of its content.
  • This concern about theft is even more present among individuals using bags with a roll-up closing. Indeed, this type of bags in particular does not have any means for locking the bag in a closed position.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The invention offers a solution to the previously discussed problems, by enabling an individual to be able to leave his/her storage bag with a roll-up closing unattended and without a risk of having his/her bag or its content stolen.
  • A first aspect of the invention relates to a protection and storage bag including a main opening configured to be closed by rolling up, said main opening defining an opening perimeter, said protection and storage bag being characterised in that it includes:
      • a flexible or hinged anti-theft member having a first free end, a central part connected to a portion of the opening perimeter and a second free end, both free ends of the anti-theft member being configured to cooperate with a locking means to lock the anti-theft member into a closing position;
      • anti-rotation means blocking any relative rotation between the anti-theft member and the portion of the opening perimeter;
      • anti-turnover means to prevent the anti-theft member from turning over when the bag is closed by rolling up and locked by the locking means.
  • By virtue of the invention, the main opening of the bag is closed by rolling up and then locked in a closed position by the anti-theft member coupled with a locking means. The anti-rotation means and anti-turnover means secure rolling up and the closed position of the bag by preventing any possibility of unrolling the opening once the bag is in its locked position and the ends of the anti-theft member are locked.
  • Besides the characteristics just discussed in the previous paragraph, the protection and storage bag according to a first aspect of the invention can have one or more complementary characteristics among the following ones, considered individually or according to any technically possible combinations.
  • Advantageously, the anti-theft member is a so-called “anti-theft” metal cable without an integrated locking means, a twisted metal cable, a hinged chain, a folding U-lock or a ring metal chain. The metal cable can be covered with a plastic material sheath.
  • Advantageously, the bag includes a locking means. Thus, the locking means cooperates with the anti-theft member to lock the roll-up closing of the bag.
  • Advantageously, the locking means of the anti-theft member is a padlock, a U-lock, a cable-, chain-, or hinged anti-theft device. The locking means can be locked by means of a key, of a code or by a numerical system.
  • Advantageously, the bag includes a locking means integrated into the anti-theft member. Thus, there is less risk of losing the locking means.
  • Advantageously, the anti-theft member is an anti-theft cable with an integrated locking means at its ends.
  • Advantageously, the anti-turnover means are formed by at least one curved and rigid part of the anti-theft member. Thus, the anti-theft member includes a non-manually deformable part, preventing the anti-theft member from being turned over by twisting. The length of the buckle formed by the anti-theft member in a locked position and the dimension of the anti-turnover means are adapted to prevent the anti-theft member from being turned over by twisting.
  • Advantageously, the anti-turnover means are formed by a buckle located at each end of the anti-theft member cooperating with the locking means. Thus, if the locking means has dimensions not enabling it to pass in the buckle formed by the anti-theft member in a locked position, the locking means coupled with the buckles located at the ends of the anti-theft member prevents the anti-theft member from being turned over by twisting.
  • Advantageously, the anti-turnover means are formed by a loop located on an external surface of the bag. Thus, passing the locking means or an end of the anti-theft member in the loop before locking the anti-theft member, prevents the anti-theft member from being turned over by twisting. The loop can be made of a cut-resistant material such as metal or stainless steel for example. The loop is preferably connected to a liner of the bag having cut-resistance properties.
  • Advantageously, the anti-turnover means are formed by the locking means which is fastened to an external surface of the bag. Thus, locking the ends of the anti-theft member to the locking means, prevents the anti-theft member from being turned over by twisting. The locking means is preferably connected to a liner of the bag having cut-resistance properties.
  • Advantageously, the portion of the opening perimeter includes a housing, the central part of the anti-theft member being arranged in the housing. Thus, it is more difficult to gain access to the anti-theft member and to remove it from the bag, especially if the bag includes a cut-resistant material.
  • Advantageously, the central part of the anti-theft member is fastened to the portion of the opening perimeter, inside the bag. Thus, it is more difficult to gain access to the anti-theft member and to remove it from the bag.
  • Advantageously, the anti-rotation means of the anti-theft member are formed by at least one clamping collar fastened to an internal surface of the bag and to the anti-theft member at an end or at the central part of the anti-theft member. Thus, the anti-theft member is rotatably and translationally blocked relative to the bag. The clamping collar can be fastened to an internal surface of the bag by riveting or stitching.
  • Advantageously, the anti-rotation means of the anti-theft member are formed by at least one adhesive tape fastened to an internal surface of the bag and surrounding the central part or an end of the anti-theft member. Thus, the anti-theft member is rotatably and translationally blocked relative to the bag. The adhesive tape can be fastened to an internal surface of the bag by stitching, bonding, or riveting.
  • Advantageously, the anti-rotation means of the anti-theft member are formed by a projection of the anti-theft member. This projection is trapped in a liner of the bag or fastened to an internal surface of the bag, by stitching or by riveting for example. Thus, the anti-theft member is rotatably and translationally blocked relative to the bag.
  • Advantageously, a soft resistant element is arranged in the material constituting the bag located under the portion of the opening perimeter or in the folding zone. Thus, the soft resistant element rolls up around the central part of the anti-theft member during rolling up to increase the cut-resistance at the rolled up part of the bag and thus to make it more difficult to detach the anti-theft member.
  • Advantageously, the bag includes one or more rigidifying elements at the opening perimeter. Thus, the rigidifying element enables a rolling up strip facilitating the rolling up operation to be defined. This rigidifying element can for example be a metal rigid lug, a plastic material flexible lug or a thick fabric strip.
  • Advantageously, the bag includes a rigid and possibly removable structure trapped in a liner of the bag. The rigid structure can be a shell or a lug. Thus, the body of the bag cannot pass inside the buckle formed by the anti-theft member once it is locked. Thus, if the bag is not very full, it is protected against theft.
  • Advantageously, the bag includes a liner made of at least one water-resistant material and having cut-resistance properties.
  • Advantageously, the bag includes a liner made of at least one water-resistant material and a liner made of at least one material having cut-resistance properties. Thus, the bag is protected against rain and resists cutting by a sharp or perforating object to steal its content.
  • Advantageously, the bag includes a liner made of at least one water-resistant or waterproof material. The liner can be a tarpaulin, a coated canvas or a water-resistant fabric. Thus, the bag is protected against rain.
  • Advantageously, the liner of the bag made of at least one water-resistant material has welded seams or seams provided with sealing tapes. Thus, these seams are water-resistant.
  • Advantageously, the bag includes a liner made of at least one material having cut-resistance properties. This material can be a para-aramid fibre or “Ultra-High-Molecular-Weight Polyethylene” or UHMWPE fabric for example and the fabric can include glass fibre. Thus, the bag resists cutting by a sharp or perforating object such as for example a cutter, a knife, scissors, a screw driver, a saw, cutting pliers.
  • Advantageously, the liner of the bag made of at least one material having cut-resistance properties has seams made with cut-resistant thread. The cut-resistant thread is for example of para-aramid fibre or “Ultra-High-Molecular-Weight Polyethylene” or UHMWPE. Thus, this avoids cutting the bag at its junctions.
  • Advantageously, the bag includes a liner integrating at least one flexible cut-resistant mesh. Thus, the bag is protected against theft.
  • Advantageously, the bag includes a liner made of at least one water-resistant material and a liner made of at least one soft resistant mesh. Thus, the bag is protected against rain and theft.
  • Advantageously, the connecting seams between each liner of the bag are offset. Thus, it is more difficult to open the bag by cutting the seams.
  • Advantageously, the bag includes at least one external liner and an internal liner each being stitched independently of the other and secured together, preferably at the folding zone or main opening. Thus, it is difficult to steal the content of the bag by cutting the external seams since the seams of both liners do not coincide.
  • Advantageously, a liner of the bag can include two layers, an inner layer and an outer layer secured to each other by stitching.
  • Advantageously, the bag includes a liner including a part made of at least one material having cut-resistance properties. If the cut-resistant material does not totally cover the folding zone, the liner is less thick in this zone, thus facilitating rolling up of the closing.
  • Advantageously, the external liner of the bag is made of several materials. Thus, the folding zone of the main opening is better delimited.
  • Advantageously, the bag includes a liner made of at least one material having cut-resistance properties at the main opening of the bag and the central part of the anti-theft member is divided into two parts not connected to each other. Thus, the bag is made lighter.
  • Advantageously, the bag includes a zip with a pull tab configured to close the main opening. Thus, the risk of objects falling during rolling up is decreased or the bag can be used without being rolled up for a larger capacity.
  • Advantageously, the pull tab of the zip includes a hole to insert the locking means therein. Thus, the bag is protected against theft without the need to close it by rolling up.
  • Advantageously, the bag includes a strap which can be elastic and provided with a snap fastener at an end and fastened to an external surface of the bag at the other end. Thus, the bag can be easily held folded by turning the strap around the pannier. The strap also enables the bag to be held on a support such as a bike.
  • Advantageously, the bag includes a strap which can be elastic and provided with a snap fastener in its centre and with a buckle-forming snap fastener at each end. Each buckle passes in a loop fastened to an external surface of the bag such as a triglide type ring for example. Thus, the bag can be easily held folded when empty by turning the strap around the pannier using the central fastener. Snap fasteners at the ends enable the bag to be fastened by passing the buckles around a support such as a bike rack for example.
  • Advantageously, the bag includes a carrying means. Thus, the bag is easier to transport.
  • Advantageously, the bag includes a fastening means to be attached to a part of a bike such as for example on the handlebars, saddle or rack. Thus, the bag can be used as a bike pannier.
  • Advantageously, the bag is configured and dimensioned for storing a bike helmet.
  • Advantageously, the bag is configured and dimensioned to contain a foldable bike helmet. Thus, the bag can be used as a bike pannier, to store cycling accessories such as a bike helmet.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF AT LEAST ONE EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
  • Unless otherwise specified, a same element appearing in different figures has a single reference.
  • A first aspect of the invention relates to a protection and storage bag having a roll-up closing mode.
  • By protection bag it is meant a secure bag the content of which is protected against theft.
  • By bag having a roll-up closing mode, it is meant a bag having a main opening and being made of at least one soft material to enable the soft material of the bag located at the main opening to be folded on itself in order to obtain at least two thicknesses for closing the main opening.
  • By main opening, it is meant the opening for gaining access to the larger capacity compartment of the bag, as opposed to a subsidiary or secondary opening, such as for example an opening of an internal pocket, of a secondary compartment or of an external pocket the openings of which are generally more reduced than the main opening.
  • FIG. 1 is a schematic representation of a first embodiment of a protection and storage bag according to the invention in an open position.
  • The bag 100 according to the invention represented in FIG. 1 includes a main opening 101 defining an opening perimeter 102.
  • By opening perimeter, it is meant the curved contour delimiting an opening.
  • The main opening 101 is closed by rolling up an upper part of the bag 100 on itself, as represented in FIG. 3 or FIG. 6. Conventionally, rolling up consists in folding the soft material making up the bag 100 on itself at the main opening 101 a plurality of times. Generally, such a bag 100 is considered as being closed when the user has performed at least two folding operations. The upper part of the bag 100 used to close the bag 100 by rolling up is called a folding zone 114.
  • Conventionally, the bag 100 includes at least one rigidifying element 107 arranged at the folding zone 114 of the bag 100 and especially at the opening perimeter 102. The function of the rigidifying element 107 is to facilitate rolling up operation. Indeed, the rigidifying element makes it possible to define a rolling up strip to delimit a folding zone 114 near the main opening 101 and thus facilitate successively folding this rolling up strip enabling the bag 100 to be closed by rolling up. The rigidifying element 107 can be shaped as a lug and be in several parts. The rigidifying element 107 can be for example a metal rigid lug, a plastic material flexible lug or a thick fabric strip.
  • The bag 100 also includes an anti-theft member 104 having two free ends 105 positioned outside the bag 100 and a central part 106 provided inside the bag 100. The ends 105 and central part 106 of the anti-theft member 104 are part of a same single-piece element, as represented in FIG. 1.
  • The central part 106 of the anti-theft member 104 is integral with a portion 103 of the opening perimeter 102, that is the central part 106 is connected to the portion 103 of the opening perimeter 102. The opening perimeter 102 thereby consists of the portion 103 to which the anti-theft member 104 is connected and of another portion.
  • According to the first embodiment represented in FIG. 1, the central part 106 of the anti-theft member 104 is arranged in the material making up the portion 103 of the opening perimeter 102 of the bag 100. For this, the portion 103 of the opening perimeter 102 can for example include a housing or compartment extending along the portion 103 of the opening perimeter 102 for accommodating the central part 106 of the anti-theft member 104.
  • According to an alternative embodiment not represented, the central part 106 of the anti-theft member 104 is fastened to the portion 103 of the opening perimeter 102, for example by stitching, so that the central part 106 is inside the bag 100.
  • According to an alternative embodiment not represented, the central part 106 of the anti-theft member 104 is fastened to the portion 103 of the opening perimeter 102, on an external surface of the bag 100.
  • The bag 100 can also include a locking means 108 for locking the anti-theft member 104 and the bag 100 in a closed position, i.e. in a rolled up position. The ends 105 of the anti-theft member 104 are configured to cooperate with the locking means 108 which makes a junction of both ends 105 and locks the junction, the anti-theft member 104 thereby forming a buckle, which enables the roll-up closing of the bag 100 to be locked, as represented in FIG. 4. Indeed, once it is rolled-up, the main opening 101 of the bag 100 is closed but, without the locking means 108, the closing of the main opening 101 is not secured since nothing prevents the bag 100 from being unrolled to gain access to its content.
  • In this first embodiment, the ends 105 of the anti-theft member 104 integrate the locking means 108. The anti-theft member 104 is then for example an anti-theft cable with an integrated locking means, as represented in FIG. 1. The locking means can be locked by means of a key, a code or by a numerical system.
  • The bag 100 also includes anti-rotation means 110 to prevent any relative rotation between the anti-theft member 104 and the portion 103 of the opening perimeter 102. Thus, once the bag 100 is closed and locked, it is impossible to unroll the bag 100 to gain access to its content.
  • According to the exemplary embodiment illustrated in FIG. 1, the anti-rotation means 110 are two elements fastened to the bag 100, for example by stitching, welding, bonding, or any other ad hoc means. Both anti-rotation elements 110 are also integral with the anti-theft member 104 so that they enable any relative rotation of the anti-theft member 104 to be blocked relative to the opening perimeter 102, and especially of the ends 105 of the anti-theft member 104.
  • In this first embodiment, the anti-rotation means 110 are one or more adhesive tapes surrounding an end 105 or the central part 106 of the anti-theft member 104, each adhesive tape being fastened to an internal surface of the bag 100 for example by stitching, riveting, welding, bonding, or any other ad hoc means. The adhesive tape is for example fastened to the material making up the inside of the bag along the portion 103 of the opening perimeter 102.
  • According to another alternative embodiment not represented, the anti-rotation means 110 are formed by one or more resistant rigid clamping collars which surround and clamp the anti-theft member 104 at one end 105 or at the central part 106 of the anti-theft member 104. Each clamping collar is also secured to an internal surface of the bag 100 by riveting or stitching. The clamping collar is for example fastened to the material making up the inside of the bag along the portion 103 of the opening perimeter 102.
  • According to another alternative embodiment not represented, the anti-rotation means 110 are formed by a projection of the anti-theft member 104. This projection is trapped in a liner of the bag 100 or fastened to an internal surface of the bag 100 for example by stitching or riveting.
  • The bag 100 also includes anti-turnover means 113 to prevent the anti-theft member 104 from being turned over by twisting when the bag 100 is closed and locked.
  • Once locked, as represented in FIGS. 3 and 4, the anti-theft member 104 forms a buckle having an internal perimeter and an external perimeter. By turning over the anti-theft member 104, it is meant the action through which all the points initially located on the internal perimeter of the buckle formed by the anti-theft member 104 end up on the external perimeter of the buckle formed by the anti-theft member 104 and all the points initially located on the external perimeter of the buckle formed by the anti-theft member 104 end up on the internal perimeter of the buckle formed by the anti-theft member 104.
  • By twisting the anti-theft member 104, it is meant deforming the anti-theft member 104 under the action of at least one torque causing the anti-theft member 104 to be rotated about its axis. The anti-turnover means 113 thereby make it possible to prevent this deformation of the anti-theft member 104 from resulting in its being turnover.
  • In this first embodiment, the anti-turnover means 113 are two curved rigid parts, each curved rigid part being located at one end 105 of the anti-theft member 104. By rigid part, it is meant here a non-manually deformable part.
  • Alternatively, the anti-turnover means 113 can be formed by a single curved rigid part or by a plurality of curved rigid parts being at the central body 106 of the anti-theft member 104 or at the ends 105 of the anti-theft member 104.
  • Alternatively, the anti-turnover means 113 can be formed by several segments hinged to each other being at the central body 106 or at the ends 105 of the anti-theft member 104. The angular displacement of at least one of the hinges is thereby sufficiently limited to prevent the anti-theft member 104 from turning over.
  • The anti-turnover means 113 combined with the anti-rotation means 110 thereby form anti-unrolling means for preventing the bag 100 closed and unlocked from being unrolled, thus preventing the bag 100 from opening.
  • The anti-unrolling means can also include other elements than the anti-turnover means 113 and anti-rotation means 110, for example, a rigid and possibly removable structure, not represented in figures, trapped in a liner of the bag 100. The rigid and possibly removable structure is for preventing the body of the bag 100 from passing into the buckle formed by the anti-theft member 104 locked. By rigid structure it is meant that the structure is not manually deformable. The dimensions of the buckle formed by the anti-theft member 104 locked are adapted so that the rigid and possibly removable structure cannot pass into the buckle. The rigid structure can be a shell or a lug. The lug is preferably positioned just under the folding zone so that it cannot pass into the buckle formed by the locked anti-theft member 104.
  • According to an alternative embodiment, the bag 100 includes a liner made of a material which both is water-resistant and has cut-resistance properties.
  • According to another alternative embodiment, the bag 100 includes a liner made of one or more water-resistant materials. The water-resistant material is for example a cotton or PVC- or polyurethane-coated polyester fabric.
  • The water-resistance properties can encompass several protection levels: slightly rain resistant, waterproof, impervious.
  • The bag 100 also includes a liner made of one or more materials having cut-resistance properties. The material having cut-resistance properties is for example “Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene” or UHMWPE associated with glass fibre or a para-aramid fibre-based or Kevlar™ fabric used for example in anti-cut gloves for cooking or DIY.
  • The bag 100 then includes at least one external liner 111 and an internal liner. For example, the bag 100 includes an external liner 111 including at least one water-resistant material and an internal liner including at least one material having cut-resistance properties. Alternatively, the bag 100 can include an external liner 111 including at least one material having cut-resistance properties and an internal liner including at least one water-resistant material.
  • For example, the external liner 111 and the internal liner of the bag are each stitched independently of one another and secured to each other, preferably at the folding zone 114 or main opening 101.
  • Advantageously, the connecting seams of each liner of the bag 100 are offset from each other. This offset in the process for manufacturing the bag is to make it more difficult to cut the bag.
  • According to a sub-alternative embodiment, the bag 100 includes a liner comprised of a first internal layer and a second external layer secured to each other by stitching.
  • The external liner 111 of the bag 100 can be made of several materials, for example the material 117 of the folding zone 114 located under the other portion of the opening perimeter 102 is different from the material used for the reminder of the external liner 111.
  • According to an alternative embodiment, the bag 100 includes a liner only comprising a part made of at least one material having cut-resistance properties. For example, the material having cut-resistance properties is not used in a part of the folding zone 114 which is not exposed when the bag 100 is closed and locked. The liner made of a water-resistant material advantageously has welded seams or seams fitted with sealing tapes for the seams to be water-resistant.
  • The liner having cut-resistance properties advantageously has seams made with a cut-resistant thread, for example of a para-aramid fibre or UHMWPE.
  • FIG. 2 illustrates a second embodiment of the invention. In this second embodiment, the bag 200 is identical to the bag 100 previously described except for the elements which will be described later.
  • In this second embodiment illustrated in FIG. 2, the locking means 208 is an added element, separate from the ends 205 of the anti-theft member 204. The locking means 208 is, for example, a padlock or a U-lock and the ends 205 of the anti-theft member 204 are for example shaped as buckles, as represented in FIG. 2. The locking means 208 can be with a key, a code or be activated by an electronic means.
  • The anti-theft member 204 is for example a so-called “anti-theft” metal cable without an integrated locking means, a twisted metal cable, a hinged chain or a ring metal chain. The metal cable can be covered with a plastic material sheath. The metal cable can be crimped at each end to form a buckle.
  • In this second embodiment, the anti-turnover means 213 are buckles, each buckle being located at one end 205 of the anti-theft member 204, cooperating with the locking means 208.
  • The anti-turnover means 213 according to this second embodiment also include a loop 215 fastened to an external surface of the bag 200. Thus, upon closing and locking the bag 200, one of the ends 105 of the anti-theft member 104 or the locking means 108 is advantageously passed in the loop 215 before locking, which prevents the anti-theft member 104 for turning over by twisting. The loop 215 is for example a ring which is advantageously fastened to the mesh structure 112. The loop 215 can be made of a cut-resistant material such as metal or stainless steel for example. The loop 215 is preferably connected to a liner of the bag 200 having cut-resistance properties.
  • The anti-unrolling means according to this second embodiment can also include the rigid and possibly removable structure arranged in a liner of the bag 200.
  • In this second embodiment, the bag 200 includes a flexible mesh structure 112 having cut-resistance properties, represented in transparency in FIG. 2. The mesh 112 is for example of steel or carbon or para-aramid fibre. The bag then includes a liner, for example made of a water-resistant material, the mesh 112 being covered with the material making up the liner at some places to enable the securement.
  • Thus, the liner of this second embodiment has the same cut-resistance properties as the first embodiment previously described. Thus, the other properties of the liner described in the first embodiment are also applicable to this second embodiment.
  • According to an alternative embodiment, it is contemplated to combine the liner comprising at least one part of a material having cut-resistance properties according to the first embodiment which integrates a flexible mesh structure 112 having cut-resistance properties according to the second embodiment.
  • FIG. 6 represents a cross-section view of the upper part of the bag 100, 200 in a closed position.
  • In FIG. 6, the material 116 of the folding zone 114 of the bag 100, 200 located under the portion 103 of the opening perimeter 102 is represented in solid hatching line and the material 117 of the folding zone 114 of the bag 100, 200 located under the other portion of the opening perimeter 102 is represented in dotted hatching line.
  • To close the bag 100, 200, the first and second portions of the opening perimeter 102 are joined together and then the material making up the folding zone 114 is rolled up around the anti-theft member 104, 204.
  • The anti-theft member 104, 204 is surrounded with an adhesive tape making up the anti-rotation means 110. The adhesive tape 110 is fastened to the material making up the inside of the bag 100, 200 located under the anti-theft member 104, 204, that is to an internal surface of the bag 100, 200 at the folding zone 114, located under the first portion 103 of the opening perimeter.
  • The first and second portions of the opening perimeter 102 each include a lug type rigidifying element 107.
  • The bag 100, 200 can also include a soft resistant element 209 located under the opening perimeter 102 and provided in the material making up the bag 100, 200, represented in FIG. 2. The soft resistant element 209 is configured to be rolled-up around the central part 106 of the anti-theft member 104 upon closing the bag 100, 200 by rolling up, thus preventing the bag 100, 200 from being cut at the rolled up part of the bag 100, 200.
  • The bag 100, 200 can also include a strap which can be elastic or an elastic tape fitted with at least one snap fastener to hold the bag 100, 200 folded when empty or to fasten it to a support such as for example a bike or a post. For example, the bag 100, 200 includes a strap which can be elastic and fitted with a snap fastener in its centre and with a snap fastener at each end forming a buckle which is fastened to an external surface of the bag 100, 200 by a plastic buckle. Thus, the bag 100, 200 can be easily held folded when empty by passing the central snap fastener on the side opposite the bag 100, 200. Snap fasteners at the ends enable the bag 100, 200 to be fastened to a support such as a bike rack for example.
  • The bag 100, 200 can also have, at the main opening 101 a zip, also called slide fastener or Eclair™ zip, for closing the main opening 101 before rolling up.
  • For example, the zip includes a pull tab having a hole in which the locking means 108, 208 can be passed.
  • The bag 100, 200 can also include a carrying means, such as for example a sling, handle or shoulder straps.
  • The bag 100, 200 includes a fastening means to be attached to a bike such as for example on the handlebar, saddle or rack.
  • The bag 100, 200 can be, for example of the rucksack, shoulder bag, hand bag, sport bag, beach bag or bike or motorcycle pannier.
  • The bag 100, 200 can be configured and dimensioned to contain a bike helmet and more particularly, to contain a foldable bike helmet such as described in patent application FR 2948540.
  • A second aspect of the invention relates to a method 500 for closing and locking the bag 100, 200 according to the invention. The method 500, schematically represented in FIG. 5, includes three steps.
  • The first step 501 is a step of closing the main opening 101 of the bag 100, 200 by rolling up a part of the bag 100, 200 on itself, rolling up consisting in folding the soft material making up the bag 100, 200 on itself at the main opening 101 at least twice. At the end of this step 501, the bag 100, 200 is closed but not attached and not locked.
  • The second step 502 is a step of joining both ends 105, 205 of the anti-theft member 104, 204 by the locking means 108, 208. In the first embodiment, the anti-theft member 104 is an anti-theft cable with an integrated locking means 108; step 502 then consists in slotting both ends 105 of the anti-theft member 104. In the second embodiment, the locking means 208 is a padlock and the ends 205 are buckles; step 502 then consists in closing the padlock after it is passed in both buckles. This joining step 502 especially enables the bag 100, 200 to be attached around a fixed object such as for example a post, a table leg, a bike and thus the risk of having the bag 100, 200 stolen to be decreased. The bag 100, 200 can additionally be used to secure two objects to each other as a conventional anti-theft device, for example a wheel or the frame of a bike. At the end of this step 502, the bag 100, 200 is closed and attached but not locked.
  • The third step 503 is a step of locking the locking means 108, 208. Step 503, for example, consists in closing the locking means 108, 208 with a key, or in locking with a combination if the locking means 108, 208 is with codes. At the end of step 503, the bag 100, 200 is closed, attached and locked.
  • If the bag 100, 200 includes a zip including a pull tab, the method 500 can include an additional step of closing the zip before step 501 of closing by rolling up the bag 100, 200 and an additional step of passing the locking means 108, 208 in a hole of the pull tab of the zip before the joining step 502.
  • If the bag 100, 200 includes a loop 215, the method 500 can include an additional step of passing an end 105, 205 of the anti-theft member 104, 204 in the loop 215 or passing the locking means 108, 208 before the joining step 502.

Claims (13)

1. A protection and storage bag including a main opening configured to be closed by rolling up, said main opening defining an opening perimeter, said protection and storage bag comprising:
a flexible or hinged anti-theft member having a first free end, a central part connected to a portion of the opening perimeter and a second free end, both first and second free ends of the anti-theft member being configured to cooperate with a locking system to lock the anti-theft member into a closing position;
an anti-rotation system blocking any relative rotation between the anti-theft member and the portion of the opening perimeter;
an anti-turnover system to prevent the anti-theft member from turning over when the bag is closed by rolling up and locked by the locking system.
2. The protection and storage bag according to claim 1, further comprising the locking system.
3. The protection and storage bag according to claim 2, wherein the locking system is integrated into the anti-theft member.
4. The protection and storage bag according to claim 3, wherein the anti-turnover system is formed by at least one curved and rigid part of the anti-theft member.
5. The protection and storage bag according to claim 2, wherein the anti-turnover system is formed by a buckle located at each end of the anti-theft member cooperating with the locking system.
6. The protection and storage bag according to claim 1, wherein the anti-turnover system is formed by a loop fastened to an external surface of the bag.
7. The protection and storage bag according to claim 1, wherein the portion of the opening perimeter includes a housing, the central part of the anti-theft member being arranged in the housing.
8. The protection and storage bag according to claim 1, wherein the anti-rotation system is formed by at least one clamping collar fastened to an internal surface of the bag and to the anti-theft member at an end or at the central part of the anti-theft member.
9. The protection and storage bag according to claim 1, wherein the anti-rotation system is formed by at least one adhesive tape fastened to an internal surface of the bag and surrounding the central part or an end of the anti-theft member.
10. The protection and storage bag according to claim 1, comprising at least one external liner and an internal liner each being stitched independently of each other and secured to each other.
11. The protection and storage bag according to claim 1, further comprising a liner made of at least one water-resistant material.
12. The protection and storage bag according to claim 1, further comprising a liner made of at least one material having cut-resistance properties.
13. The protection and storage bag according to claim 1, further comprising a liner integrating at least one flexible cut-resistant mesh.
