- Usually, users need to carry various cosmetic materials and/or applicators packaged in individual compact kits, in their bags in order to apply the desired cosmetic materials when away from home. Accordingly, for applying a complete makeup, the users need to carry multitude of such individual compact kits in their bags. However, keeping a multitude of individual compact kits within a bag usually results in scattering of the individual compact kits within the bag, thereby precluding an easy access of a specific individual compact kit from the bag, by a user as and when required. Further, individual compact kits require disposal thereof, once the cosmetic materials from the individual compact kits have been completely used up.
- Alternately, a multitude of cosmetic materials may be contained in a single compact kit. Specifically, a single compact kit may be manufactured by a technique, such as molding, to include a plurality of compartments formed within the single compact kit for storing the multitude of cosmetic materials therewithin. However, inclusion of such compartments makes the single compact kit bulky. Consequently, it may be inconvenient for users to carry such bulky compact kits in their bags. Further, the single compact kits also need to be disposed of once the cosmetic materials stored within the plurality of compartments have been completely utilized by a user.
- In addition, some single compact kits are manufactured in a form to include one or more movable compartments for storing a large variety of cosmetic materials therewithin. The one or more movable compartments may be adapted one above the other resulting in compact forms of the single compact kits. However, use of a single compact kit with one or more movable compartments may preclude easy access of all cosmetic materials from within the single compact kit by a user, as the arrangement of the one or more movable compartments configured one above the other may hide the compartments that lay under other compartments. Further, such single compact kits may also need to be disposed of once the cosmetic materials stored within such single compact kits have been completely utilized.
- Moreover, some compact kits include magnetic mechanisms for closing the compact kits. Specifically, a compact kit may include a first magnet attached to an edge of a base of the compact kit, and a second magnet attached to a lid of the compact kit. The first magnet engages with the second magnet, when the lid is laid over the base for closing the compact kit. However, such magnetic mechanisms are known to interfere with functions of various electronic equipment, such as mobile phones, electronic hand-held games, and the like, which may also be carried in a bag holding the compact kit. Accordingly, the magnetic mechanisms of the compact kit may cause damage to the electronic equipments.
- Additionally, various compact kits include specific types of cosmetic materials, such as an eye makeup having a specific shade, which may not be used by a user. This may result in the waste of the unused cosmetic materials as well as the waste of space utilized for holding such unused cosmetic materials within the compact kits. Further, the user may desire to use cosmetic materials of specific shades, which may not be provided in the compact kits. The specific shades of the cosmetic materials may vary with respect to a user's requirements. For example, a user may desire to wear a specific shade of an eye and facial makeup for an occasion, such as a wedding. However, such a shade may not be provided in the compact kit bought by the user. Accordingly, a user may feel dismayed as he/she may not be able to fulfill his/her requirements, and personalize/customize the compact kit as per his/her preferences.
- Accordingly, there exists a need for a compact kit for holding cosmetic materials in an organized and easy-to-access manner. Further, there exists a need for a compact kit that may be carried conveniently by a user while traveling. Furthermore, there exists a need for a compact kit that is capable of being reused once cosmetic materials held within the compact kit are completely utilized. Moreover, there exists a need for a compact kit that may be customized according to a user's requirements. Additionally, there exists a need for a compact kit that may be carried conveniently along with other electronic equipments without causing any damage to the electronic equipments.
- In view of the foregoing disadvantages inherent in the prior art, the general purpose of the present disclosure is to provide a compact kit for holding cosmetic articles, such as applicators and makeup materials, configured to include all the advantages of the prior art, and to overcome the drawbacks inherent therein.
