  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • Currently, the majority of existing products that we could denominate as bag carriers are made by more than one piece or part. Composed of hooks, straps, gloves, handles, and chains, among others, having more than one piece or part and the complexity of the design elevate the cost of the product as well as the production. This bag carrier has been thought of with the intention of suppressing these and other inconveniences. It consists of an artifact composed solely by one piece and a very simple and economic design that works more efficient and is more comfortable than the products made by one or more pieces or parts.
  • BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention refers to a manual bag carrier created to avoid the discomfort and the unpleasant feeling that occur to the hands due to the pressure that bag handles cause when 1 or more bags contain something. It has also been designed with the intention of avoiding spills by keeping the handles inside the bag carrier while the bags are not being carried. Designed primarily for, but not limited to, the kind of bags—whether they are bags made with handles of plastic, fabric, paper, or another material—that supermarkets, department stores, malls, and stores in general give to their customers to transport the acquired products. This bag carrier has been perfected to help carry and transport comfortably one or more bags. This product is not limited exclusively to carry bag handles, it can also be used to carry other products with handles or something similar.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SEVERAL VIEWS OF THE DRAWINGS
  • The object of the present invention will be better understood with the help of the following description based on the attached drawings, in which
  • FIG. 1 is a lateral view of the bag carrier,
  • FIG. 2 is a view in perspective, and
  • FIG. 3 is a different lateral view of the bag carrier while containing the handles of one or more bags.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • In reference to the figures mentioned, the bag carrier is consisted of a hollowed cylinder (1) made of a resistant material in which the interior (2) and the exterior (3) have smooth surfaces. The characteristics of the hollowed cylinder (1) are that it functions so that the interior (2) is used to place bag handles (5), and its exterior (3) is used to be held by the hand. The diameter and the thickness of the cylinder vary depending on how many bag handles it is designed to contain, the thickness allows that the weight of one or more bags be supported without breaking the bag carrier. The size, both the length and the width, of the hollowed cylinder (1) are designed so that the bag carrier can be held comfortably by different sizes of hands, and so that the bag handles fit accordingly. The particularity of this bag carrier being cylindrical and smooth is a fundamental characteristic, for this is what avoids the unpleasant feeling and the discomfort caused to the hand, and this as well is what makes it so comfortable to carry.
  • The hollowed cylinder (1) has another characteristic that is very distinctive and important for the efficient functioning of this bag carrier: a diagonal narrow opening (4) that begins crossing the cylinder (1), while in a horizontal position, from the inferior left side to the superior right side; this position was chosen because it facilitates the action of getting the bag handles in and out of the cylinder. This diagonal narrow opening (4) has a width that allows several types and sizes of one or more bag handles (5) to fit properly when they are being placed in or taken out. It is designed primarily for, but not limited to, the kind of bags—whether they are bags made with handles of plastic, fabric, paper, or another material—that supermarkets, department stores, malls, and stores in general give to their customers to transport the acquired products. The diagonal narrow opening (4) is what prevents the bag handles from coming out accidentally from the hollowed cylinder (1) while it is not being carried, because the bag handles are set in a parallel position to the cylinder, and the narrow opening being diagonal is what allows them to be kept inside with the intention of avoiding spills.
  • This product is not limited exclusively to carry bags, it can also be used to carry other products with handles or something similar.

Claims (2)

1. A Manual Bag Carrier comprising a hollowed cylinder made of a resistant material in which the interior and the exterior have smooth surfaces.
2. A Manual Bag Carrier, as claimed in the previous clause, wherein the hollowed cylinder has a diagonal narrow opening that begins crossing the cylinder, while in a horizontal position, from the inferior left side to the superior right side.
