Devices for closing bottles are known which consist of a disc with downwardly extending ears encircling the neck of the bottle, which ears due to their elasticity will 5 normally be pressed inwardly against the neck of the bottle, the disk having a vaulted dome which,- upon depression, will cause said ears to spread out in such a manner that the bottle closure may be taken qfl'.
