To all whom #may concern:
Be it known that. I, OVEDIA B. FoRTNnY, a citizen'of the-United States, residing at Stratford; in the county of Marathon and State of Wisconsin, have invented certain.. vnew and useful'l Improvements in Non-Refillable Bottles, of which the following is a v of this closure-is placed upon the neck 14 of -the rod and is held' thereon by having the outer end of the neck formed into a head 16 specification..
Thisinvention relates to anon-refillable' bottle of the breakable neck type and the principal objecto the invention is to provide an improved type of closure for the bottle neck which is supported in the bottle neckat the properl heightfby a supporting rod engaging'v the; bottom of the bottle and which is so constructed that it may expand i while beingpushed into vthe bottle neck and thus completely -close'thebottle neck and prevent'leakage.

In the accompanying drawings the numeral 10 indicates a bottle which is provided with an outlet neck 11 having an en largement 12 formed at a pointV adjacent its inner end'. From an inspection of Fig. 3 it which clamps the cork disk 13 tightly against the collar 17. This disk 13 is of such size that it will readily pass through the neck 1l into the enlargement 12 .and
from an4 inspection of Fig. 3 it will be read- .ily seen that when the cork is in the enlarge-- ment it will engage the sidesthereof and form a tight closure. p The leaves or supplementary closures 18 are shaped as shown in Figs. 3 and 5 so thatwhen the closure is -in the b set position shown Ain Figs. 1 and 3 .the leaves will conform' to the contour of the enlargement and will 4 .thus sli-dye upon the cork disk 13. This will cause a tight closure thus preventing'l any danger. whatever of the contents of the boti l tle'A leaking out pass the closure. ".Therd will drop through the necklofthe bottle and the leaves will then be moved toward each other until the .closure'has reached the position shown in Fig. 2 after which it will be forced through the neck of the bottle until the rod contacts with `the bottom of the` bottle. The closure will now bein the position. shown in Fig. 1
